Jessica – Full Length Hourglass Overbust Corset

Jessica is built for anyone who wants a dramatic, sharply defined shape alongside serious waist training. The pointed front and full-length cut create a true hourglass overbust corset, longer and more structured than a standard overbust pattern. With 16 spiral steel bones and full bust coverage, Jessica holds its shape through long wear. With regular use, expect a 4" waist reduction.

Pointed Front, 16 Steel Bones, and a True Hourglass Shape

The structure starts with 16 spiral steel bones running the full length of the corset, paired with 4 rigid steel plates at the front. Together they give this steel boned overbust corset the strength to hold the pointed shape at the waist and hip.  The hook & eye closure fastens securely down the front, built for regular tightening over time.

The pointed front design is what sets Jessica apart. Rather than a straight or curved bottom edge, the corset comes to a defined point at the front and back, creating a sharper, more dramatic hourglass line through the waist. Beyond the visual impact, the pointed edges sit closer to the body at the hip than a straight hem, so the corset moves with you rather than digging in when you sit or bend.

Inside, a reinforced waist ribbon keeps the shape consistent through repeated wear. As a lace up boned overbust corset, the back comes pre-laced for easy daily wear. The 5" modesty panel sits behind the lacing, so this overbust corset with modesty panel stays smooth and gap-free even at full reduction.

Built for Daily Waist Training, Styled for Dramatic Shape

Jessica works as a black cotton overbust corset for waist training, gothic fashion, and alternative style. The cotton shell makes it practical for extended wear, whether you're training daily or wearing it for a single dramatic look. As a long overbust corset for waist training, the full-length cut gives more coverage and structure through the torso than our shorter overbust styles.

The sharp pointed front and dramatic hourglass shape also make Jessica a strong choice for cosplay and costume styling, where the structured line adds real visual impact to a look. For posture support overbust corset needs, the 16 steel bones and 4 rigid plates keep your back and bust aligned through long days.

If you want full bust coverage with a softer, rounder front instead of the pointed shape, our cotton classic steel boned overbust corset offers that in a similar cotton build. Or if you prefer underbust coverage without the bust panels, our cotton steel boned underbust corset is worth comparing.

Sizing Your Hourglass Overbust Corset from 3XS to 10XL

Getting the size right matters more with a waist training overbust corset than with regular clothing. Here's a simple way to think about it:

If your natural waist is 30", choose the size that closes at 26". That gives you the full 4" reduction with lacing room at the back to tighten gradually over time.

This black overbust corset 3XS to 10XL range is also available in white, red, and beige. As a full length overbust corset, Jessica suits torso lengths between 9.5" and 12.5".

If you're wearing Jessica for a costume or a relaxed fit rather than waist training, go one size up for comfort.

Front length is 18", overbust is 18", side length is 16", and back length is 15". This classic black overbust corset gives full coverage from bust to hip. If you're unsure about sizing, email us at [email protected] before ordering and we'll help you find the right fit.

Sammy's Note on Jessica

I'm Sammy, the maker behind Corsets Island. Jessica came from wanting a sharper, more dramatic shape than our standard overbust styles. The pointed front took real pattern work to get right, but the result is a corset that holds a true hourglass line from the moment you put it on.

Every Jessica is made and packed by hand in my workshop. If you want it in a different color, a custom size, or with a different closure, I'll make that happen at no extra charge. You can choose from a silver zip, antique zip, gold hook & eye, silver clasps, flat front with side zip, or front lacing. Add a note at checkout or email me at [email protected] with your natural measurements, your desired closed corset size, and any other details.

Free US and UK shipping, no customs fees, 30-day returns, and a 6-month guarantee on every order.

An Unforgettable Fantasy Read
Format: Paperback
⭐️3.75/5 stars ⭐️ I can’t, in good faith, talk about this book without mentioning the end. If you are a reader who despises cliffhangers, you might want to add this to your TBR (and you’re going to want to read it) until the sequel is announced, because I am STILL reeling over that ending. This cliffhanger is the cliff that keeps on giving. It’s going to stay with me until the day I get to read Book 2. Why are you going to want to read The Death-Made Prince anyway? First and foremost is the world that Lisette Marshall has created with such a unique and refreshing magic system! I was hooked from the first mention of runes and necromancy. Linguistics is a subject that has always fascinated me, both in reality and in fantasy. Seeing Thraga’s runic witchcraft described as a formulaic language made both my mathematician and reader hearts throb with anticipation. Moreover, I loved Marshall’s take on necromancy - I didn’t realize how literal the “death-made” title for Durlain would be! In The Death-Made Prince, Marshall really does combine a variety of magical elements to create a fantasy world that is hard to leave. But what also makes The Death-Made Prince hard to ignore are the characters. Thraga and Durlain both have their tragic backstories, but it’s what lies beyond their backstories that truly make them stand out. Thraga is a runewitch with OCD and anxiety, and I just have to say that the representation is ON POINT. On the other hand, Durlain is a loveable black cat MMC who tries so hard to be an idiot (and does succeed). While their enemies-to-lovers relationship is a slow, slow, SLOW burn, it makes it all worth it in the “end.” The banter between them is top-notch and had me hooked and invested throughout. There were times when their banter was the only thing that kept me reading. The first 50% was slow and I had some trouble staying invested. BUT, I will encourage any reader who looks at my review to STICK WITH IT. The last 20-30% of the book made it oh so worth it. It really picks up once Durlain and Thraga arrive at the Dawn House (iykyk), featuring secrets, lies, and espionage. Oh, and of course the sexual tension. From then on, the plot moved quickly, and I couldn’t put my Kindle down. And then, there was the cliffhanger. But you already knew that. All in all, The Death-Made Prince introduced a fantasy world that I am loath to leave (even if for a little bit). While the beginning was slow and seemed to drag on, the end was amazing and I do not, and never will, regret reading it. Catch me again when Book 2 is announced… Thank you to Lisette Marshall and the team at Behind the Pages for letting me read an early copy of The Death-Made Prince! I’m honored to give my honest thoughts on this book and support its release.

amazing characters
Format: Kindle
These characters were fascinating. They were very damaged but also strong survivors. There was a sarcastic banter between them which I loved. The female lead grew from seeing herself as small but by the end she recognized her many strengths-which she will need to use to escape after a betrayal by the make lead. Best book that I have read in long time.

thorn of mine and in my side
Format: Kindle
This book really was a thorn in my side because I was spite reading until 60% though simply so I didn’t have to DNF it. Look. I read 2-3 books a week and it took me a week and a half to trudge through this. I don’t know why everyone is freaking out about how good it is because it’s not original, it’s boring, is so confusing, and literally put me to sleep more times than I can count. This is a 2.5⭐️ book rounded up because once I made it to 60% there was enough going on that I could follow it and my interest peaked enough to not DNF. I fear for the next book because this one needs work. I still don’t know who is who or what kingdom they belong to. Truly, this was not set up or executed well. I did however, truly love when he started calling her “thorn of mine”. I thought that was toxic cuteness at its finest. But wow, what a mess.

enjoyable read
Format: Kindle
I read a ton of romantasy books. This was one of the better ones I read in the past year. The plot is interesting and not repetitive. The slow burn is satisfying. I like that the heroine finds her voice and power along the way

Fallen Angels, fae, vampires, oh my!
Format: Kindle
Rating: 4.5 | Spice: 2 (but a good slow-burn) • Main Characters: Huntyr and Wolf • I couldn’t wait to read this book; there was so much hype about it! And there was no doubt why. I fell in love with the characters and the plot itself. This book is mainly plot driven more than friction driven but it’s easy to follow along with. The characters are fun, easily understood. The main setting is at an academy where both the main characters are going through trials and building strength for the final test, The Transcendent. There are fantastic side characters as well. I loved the camaraderie between Huntyr and her friends. But we don’t like Lanson. 😆 We do have some plot twists that come into play throughout the book. Secrets and betrayal to be seen. I did adore Wolf and Huntyr’s relationship. It was a classic slow burn trope. They didn’t hit it off fast, but in time their feelings grew. I loved their banter, so sexy. Wolf is your next book boyfriend; Huntyr is your next vampire assassin independent bad-a*s female. Themes include loyalty, trust, self-discovery, a true slow burn romance. Side note: book ends on a angsty cliffhanger! • Emily, thank you for writing this awesome novel and I cannot wait to devour Book 2, Blood So Brutal! 😍 • Happy reading, my lovelies! xo
