GPFAX is the new compound that replaces GPFA

  • ONLY FOR RACE USE
  • The highest performance friction level known
  • NOT R90 street legal or TÜV tested
  • Guaranteed for lifetime performance

GPFAX Sintered Road Race Brake Pads have by far the highest known friction with a measurement between 0.6 and 0.7 and deliver the most amazing brake effect. Because of this factor, they are unsuitable for street use or for road tires.

Zero brake fade is guaranteed and the heat stability of these brake pads is perfect leaving the racer with high confidence and a product that can be used over numerous races.

GPFAX Sintered Road Race brake pads are a closed circuit use pad only and street/highway riding with this material is highly inadvisable and dangerous. Such high friction levels as delivered by these pads are for ideal track conditions with race tires or slicks on prepared asphalt surfaces and NOT for use with highway tires or on the highway. This material is not ECE R 90 approved nor TUV tested with a German ABE and use on the highway is, therefore, illegal in many countries.

The material quickly builds from an initial friction level of 0.6 ( which in itself is a massive brake friction level rarely achieved by any competitor material) up to a huge 0.7 with a minimum in-stop friction level of 0.65. This tiny fall off from 07 – 0.65 during braking would be almost undetectable by the rider allowing superb brake feedback and control at the lever and allowing feathering of the brake predictably and steadily throughout deceleration.

The new material also wears better and causes lower rotor/disc damage than previous materials and should be good for 4-5 race events of a typical 20-25 lap duration minimum. Pads should be discarded when less than 2.5 mm of friction material remains to avoid fluid vapor lock due to excess piston fluid volume.

This material contains no toxic lead nickel or zinc which is a trick used by our competitors to ramp up friction levels the cheap way.

Preparing your Race discs/rotors before using this Compound
Many pads contain carbon particles some in high percentages and this leaves a grey glaze on rotors. This MUST be removed by fine abrasive paper or what is known as a Scratch Pad in the USA. Take care not to promote deep scratches on the rotor which will cause prolonged bedtimes.

    CORRECT USAGE!

Bedding in your new brake pads

After installing the pads ride the bike for 2 laps very gently applying the brakes well in advance of where you wish to stop at speeds not exceeding 80 MPH.

Proceed a further 2-3 laps gradually increasing the brake load until you feel the pads become stable and predictable.

Bedding into worn or distorted discs/rotors will be dramatically longer.

Inspect pads every Race for wear on EACH pad and replace when any single pad is down to 2.5mm or lever becomes spongy. Different brake systems respond differently and have differing amounts of fluid in their piston chambers and the time for an ideal replacement of the pads due to loss of brake feel can only be assessed by the individual rider and bike

    Brake fluid considerations

Old brake fluid affects the sponge and brake feel. Most brake fluids are Glycol based and over time their hygroscopic nature means they will absorb moisture even through the brake lines. As amazing as this sounds it does happen and fluids can contain as much as 12% water by volume in worst cases.

It is highly advised to replace brake fluid every 6-8 race events as a minimum with a high wet boiling point fluid such as Maxima Race fluid. Use only fluids from a sealed container, never from a bulk can or drum as in this storage condition the fluid will act like an old material even before you use it having absorbed water since originally opened.

    Easy to install
    Style: CF10374 Classic
The frame is made of hard plastic (color black) which fits perfectly in the air cabin filter system of a Toyota Tacoma 2006 V6. It holds it's shap quite well. The carbon filter is able to be seen and works so far. The quality seems good and the thickness of the filter is well made with a foam outter film that makes it fit my Tacoma very well. I'm happy with it. The ease of installation is good and it is well worth the money.

    Filter quality and value
    Style: CF11809 Classic
2nd time to purchase this item over a 5 year period. The filter has a rigid frame making last much longer than other paper filters. Perfect fit and worth the cost. Great job filtering cabin and neutralizing odors!

Simple Upgrade That Makes a Real Difference
    Style: CF10140 Classic
Installed the Zezut cabin filter in my 2005 Infiniti G35 and noticed the difference immediately. The air inside the car felt fresher and cleaner right away — no more stale air circulating through the vents. The HEPA backing is a big deal, knowing it's actually filtering out dust, pollen, and particles rather than just being a basic filter gives you real peace of mind. The quality feels solid and well made. Installation was super easy, took just a few minutes with no tools needed. For the price this is one of those simple maintenance upgrades that's absolutely worth doing. Your lungs will thank you. Great price and affordable, top choice for replacement in my opinion.

    Efficient long lasting. Great Value
    Style: CF10735 Classic
These filters (my second one) has lasted me over two years with a little maintenance in between, (removing from time to time to vacuum and shake out the bigger debris.) They do a great job of keeping the cabin air really clean and fresh. 1) Over designed and built (Good thing) installed without effort. 2) Fit and finish is perfect for my 2016 Genesis G80 3) Carbon filter works well but after about six months it no longer absorbs orders, This is excepted especially when I have not swapped it out for over two years. 4) Great value and honestly I should be replacing these cabin filters out ever six months for efficiency and order control. Note: When I decided to replace it the filter held up structurally as the day I installed it. The charcoal beads where all intact as well.
