Designed for network professionals who demand reliability, flexibility, and value, the Quiktron Transceiver/Media Converter delivers a robust bridge between copper Ethernet and fiber optic networks. This versatile device converts electrical Ethernet signals to Ethernet over fiber, enabling longer reach, improved interference immunity, and greater flexibility in network design. By extending transmission distances and leveraging low-loss multimode fiber, it helps organizations deploy scalable infrastructures without replacing existing equipment. The Quiktron Transceiver/Media Converter is built for continuous operation in demanding environments, with a compact form factor that fits neatly into racks, cabinets, or field installations. Its straightforward installation workflow minimizes downtime, while its durable construction and low power consumption contribute to a lower total cost of ownership over the life of the network. Whether upgrading a campus backbone, extending a data center link, or connecting remote sites, this media converter enables seamless integration with legacy devices, switches, and routers, empowering you to maximize your current investment while preparing for future bandwidth demands. Seamless Ethernet-to-fiber conversion: The Quiktron Transceiver/Media Converter takes standard Ethernet signals from a copper interface and transmits them over fiber, enabling interoperability with fiber-based infrastructure. This bridge between copper and fiber supports flexible topology changes and enables network designers to leverage fiber’s advantages without replacing existing equipment, delivering a streamlined migration path and consistent performance across disparate network components. Extended transmission distances: By moving Ethernet onto low-loss optical fiber, this converter dramatically increases link length beyond the practical limits of copper cabling. It supports longer runs between buildings, across data centers, or to off-site locations, helping to reduce network segments while maintaining signal integrity and throughput. This extension is particularly valuable for campus networks, industrial environments, and enterprise backbones where distance and interference constraints previously constrained design. Cost-effective upgrade and simplification: The media converter provides a compelling upgrade path for existing copper-based networks. Rather than overhauling switches or cabling, you can extend reach and capacity with a single, affordable device that integrates into current configurations. The simplicity of deployment translates to lower installation costs, faster modernization, and shorter downtime during migration. Easy integration and plug-and-play operation: Designed for rapid deployment, the Quiktron Transceiver/Media Converter supports standard Ethernet interfaces and requires minimal configuration. Its intuitive LED indicators help technicians quickly verify link status, activity, and power, reducing troubleshooting time and enabling technicians to deploy networks with confidence.

  • Seamless Ethernet-to-Fiber conversion for interoperability. This device bridges copper Ethernet (10/100Base-TX) to 100Base-FX fiber, enabling easy integration with fiber-based infrastructure while preserving compatibility with your current switches, routers, and edge devices. The result is a streamlined migration path that minimizes disruption and protects your existing investment.
  • Extended transmission distances with multimode fiber. By leveraging low-loss MMF, the converter enables longer link lengths beyond copper limits. This is ideal for campus networks, multi-building campuses, data-center extensions, and industrial installations where distance and EMI concerns previously constrained design choices.
  • Easy integration and plug-and-play operation. The unit supports standard Ethernet interfaces and requires minimal or no configuration. Quick LED-driven diagnostics help technicians identify link, activity, and power at a glance, reducing downtime during deployment and maintenance.
  • Compact, durable design for demanding environments. The media converter features a compact form factor that fits neatly into racks, cabinets, or field installations. Its rugged construction and low power consumption contribute to a lower total cost of ownership, while a sleek footprint makes it easy to manage cables in dense equipment rooms.
  • Cost-effective upgrade path for copper networks. Instead of replacing switches or cabling, you can extend reach and capacity with a single, affordable device that integrates into your existing network topology. This simplifies modernization, shortens project timelines, and preserves investments in copper-based infrastructure.

How to install Quiktron Transceiver Media Converter

  • Prepare the site and power: Ensure the network device is powered off before making connections. Have the appropriate power supply ready and verify that the outlet is stable to prevent interruptions during installation.
  • Connect copper devices: Attach your copper-based equipment to the RJ-45 10/100Base-TX port. Use category-rated Ethernet cables (Cat5e or higher as appropriate for your network speed) and verify snug connections.
  • Connect fiber to the ST MM port: Connect the multimode fiber optic link to the 100Base-FX ST MM port. Align the ST connector securely and avoid bending the fiber beyond its recommended minimum bend radius to prevent signal loss.
  • Power on and verify operation: Apply power to the transceiver/media converter. Observe the LED indicators for a steady link and active data transmission. If LEDs indicate a fault, inspect connections and cable integrity.
  • Integrate into the network layout: Mount the unit in a rack or safe location, route cables neatly, and document port usages for easy maintenance. Test end-to-end connectivity between the copper device and the fiber-connected endpoint to confirm successful integration.

Difficult assembly, doesn’t fold well, looks good fully open
Color: Grey, Size: B-88''W-4 Panel
The instructions for this divider are very inadequate. After having to redo parts of the assembly, I have finally assembled it. The divider itself seems very nice when it is fully open, however it is not possible to fold it well as all the bars with the wheels go in various directions making it impossible to fold it neatly. And it has a large footprint. It is possible that I did not assemble it fully well because of the lack of adequate instructions. I am not even sure if I will keep it because I need to fold out of the way when nothing in use.

Slightly challenging build
Color: Beige, Size: A-88''W-4 Panel
This was my second screen set I've purchased, first of this style. Not the easiest to assemble. Lots of pulling and tugging; not a highlight in my day.

Commercial grade divider suitable for many needs
Color: Beige, Size: A-132''W-6 Panel
This item will be used at a future event where we need to separate a single locker room into two large areas, without any construction. This divider is perfect for the job because the partitions can be 1 to 6 panels and it will roll into place. When the event is over, the divider will fold/roll away and the locker room will return to its original design. The unit is very heavy, which will ensure that it is sturdy and stable. All the components arrived, wrapped in plastic to prevent damage. The screen material is a woven polyester in a cream color that will occlude any visibility but it may be possible to see shadows on the opposite side. The height is about 6ft, which would require a very tall person to "peep over" the divider. I needed a quality unit for this project and the frame, screens, and mobility will meet the needs. The divider is not the same as the small decorative dividers -- it is more of a commercial grade product, yet tasteful. If you want/need a small divider as an accent piece, this is not the best choice. This item could be used in a medical office, treatment/massage room, to divide an office room into two, or block a hallway in a building.

Great option for a professional looking backdrop
Color: Black, Size: B-102''-3 Panel
I decided to try these wall dividers for my home office space since it does not have a door. I wanted to have my video calls without the rest of the room in the feed to give it a more professional feel. These being on castors make them super easy to move into position and roll off to the side when not in use. They are stable, much more than the folding screens I have tried in the past. That they are connected by the middle piece and not the top/bottom of each other allows you to adjust the positioning to your needs. Overall, this did exactly what I needed and was an affordable option. I also like that they are highly portable: if you want to take them for a booth or event, the poles all disassemble into manageable lengths that easily fit in a car and take very little time to set up again. The only thing I would change is to include a bag to store them in for transportation.
