FM1-XTR6 kit features an Xtreme pressure plate for the most demanding driver. ACT Xtreme pressure plates use exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection and maximize clutch life. All diaphragms endure a four-stage, heat-treating process for unparalleled performance. ACT pressure plates have precision cover stampings to provide rigidity and consistency. ACT's 6-pad rigid race discs are made with high quality, ceramic friction materials. The chrome-moly hub is heat-treated for strength and durability. The lightweight, rigid design allows for quicker shifts and smooth, trouble-free service. With the 6-pad rigid race disc, engagement is harsher, but shifting is faster. The 6-pad rigid race disc is recommended for larger clutch sizes to absorb more heat.

    Perfect Fit & Easy Install — Replaced Faulty Blade from Another Set

    This 17" Rain-X blade ended up replacing a faulty 17" blade from a 5 PLUS set (24"/17"/12") I originally installed. The 17" from that set had a defective internal adapter — it wouldn’t seat properly on the wiper arm & was extremely difficult to remove. Once I got it apart, the adapter looked warped or misformed. Rather than deal with a full return, I replaced just the 17" with this Rain-X blade. Installation on the Rain-X was quick & straightforward — it locked in properly with no issues. Performance so far is solid: Smooth wipe No streaking No excess sound Good contact across the windshield Now I’m effectively running a side-by-side comparison (Rain-X 17" vs 5 PLUS 24"/12"), & I’ll update later if anything changes over time. Overall, this blade did exactly what I needed — simple install & reliable performance.
