The Appareil Dubroni is a camera for wet collodion plates, made by Maison Dubroni in Paris for a few years from about 1864. The smallest models are box cameras; the larger ones have a bellows front for focusing. The interior of the camera body is lined with glass and later porcelain, so that sensitization, development and fixing of each plate can be done inside the camera; this was the first camera to use such a system. The chemical solutions were put into and out of the camera with a bulb pipette. In the smaller cameras there is a large red window in the back of the camera, with a swivelling metal cover (or a hinged wooden one in some models), so that operations inside the camera can be viewed. --- Rare complete outfit No.1 with camera for round images 4cm diameter in original condition and lens (cap) and Dubroni metal plaque, pipettes, bottles, accessories, wooden box with instructions - a very rare outfit in museum quality --- B --- c.1865 --- --- Die Appareil Dubroni ist eine Kamera für nasse Kollodiumplatten, die vom Maison Dubroni in Paris für einige Jahre ab etwa 1864 hergestellt wurde. Die kleinsten Modelle sind Kastenkameras, die größeren haben eine Balgenfront zum Fokussieren. Das Innere des Kameragehäuses ist mit Glas und später mit Porzellan ausgekleidet, so dass die Sensibilisierung, Entwicklung und Fixierung der einzelnen Platten innerhalb der Kamera erfolgen kann; dies war die erste Kamera, die ein solches System verwendete. Die chemischen Lösungen wurden mit einer Kolbenpipette in die Kamera hinein und wieder heraus gegeben. Bei den kleineren Kameras gibt es ein großes rotes Fenster auf der Rückseite der Kamera mit einer schwenkbaren Metallabdeckung (oder einer aufklappbaren Holzabdeckung bei einigen Modellen), so dass die Vorgänge im Inneren der Kamera beobachtet werden können. --- Seltene komplette Ausstattung No.1 mit Kamera für runde Bilder 4cm Durchmesser im Originalzustand und Objektiv (Deckel) und Dubroni-Metallplakette, Pipetten, Flaschen, Zubehör, Holzbox mit Anleitung - eine sehr seltene Ausstattung in Museumsqualität
