EARTH AUGER BITS (3' Length)

The Construction / Standard Duty Double-Flight (CDF) augers are the most common we build. Their double flighted construction gives you more capability to move dirt out of a hole faster. They’re great in drilling conditions of light-to-moderate difficulty. We build them with a one-piece cast steel boring head that the replaceable teeth bolt onto. By using a casting, we can pitch the teeth at different angles for more aggressive drilling. The overall length of these augers come in 3’, 4’ (most common), 5’ and 6’ feet.

Aggressive Duty Double-Flight (CDC) augers are ideal for tougher drilling applications. They’re built with a one-piece cast steel boring head, which holds teeth at very aggressive angles. This makes them ideal for drilling effortlessly into compacted, heavy clay, frozen soils and cobble mixes. The overall length of these augers come in 3’, 4’, 5’ and 6’ feet.

Premier’s Tree (CDT) augers are the ideal tree and shrub landscaper labor-saving tool. We fabricate each of these augers with two different diameters of flighting. This design produces a hole with a step which allows space for the addition of compost or other soil enhancements. An additional benefit of the two-step design is that it helps eliminate air pockets typically produced when holes are dug with a conventional flat-bottom earth auger. The overall length of these augers come in 3’ and 4’.
