Visually irresistible, Moreish 2026 is striking series of still life that indulges both the sweet tooth and the sense of humour. Centred around iconic British confectionary, Peter and Jayne have perfected the art of sugar-coating the truth — wrapping sharp observations in warmth, wit, and an unmistakable affection for the familiar.

With bold typography, graphic clarity and punchy colour palettes, ‘Please Excuse The Mess’ is instantly readable, uplifting, and delightful to live with. Designed not only to catch the eye, but to lift the mood. Nutritional panels, tiny graphic details and hidden jokes emerge over time, transforming the works into conversation pieces that continue to reveal themselves long after the first glance.

Across the collection, familiar British classics, in this case Tangfastics are reimagined with the Smiths’ hyper-realist precision. Peters’ refined oil technique gives each wrapper a tactile presence so convincing it appears almost peelable, while the clean compositions maintain a crisp contemporary elegance perfectly suited to modern interiors.

Tangfastics arrived in the UK in the early 1990s with a bold proposition: what if a sweet didn’t choose a single personality? Combining sweet, sour, fizzy and chewy sensations in one bag, they offered variety, unpredictability and a certain sense of adventure. Each shape appears unrelated to the next, creating the impression of a carefully curated chaos.

Eating Tangfastics became less a snack and more a negotiation. You never knew what you would encounter next, only that it might be thrilling, surprising, or mildly challenging. For many, this unpredictability was precisely the point. They remain one of the most honest forms of confectionery: not comforting or orderly, but exuberantly alive.

Internationally recognised for their razor-sharp wordplay and technical precision, Peter and Jayne Smith occupy a distinctive position within contemporary fine art. Widely collected for their mischievous humour, their works transform familiar consumer objects into gently subversive social commentary — affectionate, relatable and quietly insightful. Moreish continues the artists’ celebrated exploration of the everyday elevated to the iconic.

Awesome ball and made to last!
Color: Black & Yellow
Awesome ball! My dog loves it and plays with it all the time. He's a very aggressive chewer and there are only a few toys he can have without destroying them. Very pleased with this.

Pretty tough
Color: Black & Lake Blue
I think the toy is great, but my dog was not excited about it. He prefers the original type which is larger. I think it could possibly be cracked open by a dog with a large mouth and is intent on getting the noise maker out. But it is pretty tough.

Definitely tough but not enough
Color: Black & Lake Blue, Color: Black & Lake Blue
I've been searching high and low for a durable and engaging toy for my 90lb american bulldog. She's destroyed countless toys and her number of toys just keep rising. This lasted for a few hours before she was able to chew off the rubber shell. But now shes still enjoying the hard plastic ball on the inside. Its also a perfect size of ball for her as she can fit it in her jaws comfortably without any worry of he swallowing it. Wish the outside shell was more durable though.

Large ball, still makes noise and hasn’t chewed it up yet.
Color: Black & Lake Blue
He loves playing with it and it actually doesn’t get swallowed up in his very large mouth. He can still bark talk with it in his mouth which is impressive due to its larger than a softball. It nice because I don’t feel like I’m shoving my hand in his mouth to get it out which baseball size or smaller things I do. He hasn’t chewed it up like he does other squeak toys and it makes lots of noise when tossed and bouncing. It’s hard and he insists on playing with it. we broke a pot when we accidentally hit the pot with the ball. He is always bringing me toys to throw down the hall as we watch tv. I’m like no not that one get a different one. I’m afraid I’ll break something with that one due to how heavy and large it is. That one is an outside toy, he still brings me this one daily and we’ve had it for several weeks now. Plus my cousin little boy just visited and he loved playing with it too. Its made out of material that’s easy to clean for the 17month old to play with in his play pen. It’s not so heavy you can’t throw it just heavier than the others I’m willing to toss down the hall.
