We are delighted to introduce you to a range of handmade, papier mache sculptures by UK artist, Joanna Coupland.  Joanna produces these sculptures – a range of quirky creatures that ooze personality and charm - from her home workshop in York. She takes her inspiration from nature, in particular birds and animals, working with wire and paper to create unique, delicate pieces intended to make you smile. Inspired by taxidermy, Joanna has developed her own range of animal heads and we are delighted to bring a few to you here.

Here is Gerald Giraffe - another rather handsome, if somewhat aloof, fella!  This is one of our favourites and this is the second giraffe we have commissioned so far - the first one was the first in the range to sell from our shop in Chiswick.

The giraffe is one of the largest sculpture and you definitely need quite a big space in order to show him off to his best, but we guarantee he will be a talking point!

A great present for that difficult person who has everything.

It is extremely light and easy to hang (from the simple hook on reverse).
