Description:

Hand-forged and polished with 12 different processes, the Katana Kakucho is a masterpiece of balance and functionality. The blade is sharp and resilient, having passed all cutting tests (Tameshigiri) with distinction, whether for heavy or light cuts. The blade's structure, made with Damascus steel 2048 and folded 11 times, provides exceptional durability and performance. The blade is solid and extends to the end of the handle, ensuring robustness and impact resistance. Each katana is made according to the traditional molds of Japanese katanas, with precisely fitted pieces to avoid any wobbling during handling.

• Blade Material: Carbon steel 1060 in the core (Shintetsu) + carbon steel 1075 folded 11 times, generating 2048 layers of Damascus steel around the core (Kawatetsu).
• Edge Condition: Sharpened through 12 grinding processes.
• Tsuka (handle): Silk, hardwood, and ornamental ray skin.
• Tsuba (guard): Metal fusion.
• Menuki: Decorations on the handle, one on each side.

• Habaki (Blade collar): Metal piece that ensures the union of the blade and the sheath, serving both aesthetic and functional purposes. Small scratches are normal due to use.
• Hi: Groove on the part of the blade opposite the edge that provides audible feedback during practice and reduces the weight of the sword while maintaining its stability and strength.
• Menuki: Decorations located on the handle, one on each side, adding an aesthetic touch to the sword.

The crafting time for your personalized sword is approximately 15 days. After production, your sword will be shipped directly from Hong Kong, where our forge is located, using the best available air courier at the time.
