The Genesis Collection RG550 is a faithful reissue of one of the most iconic shred guitars ever made. The Super Wizard maple neck is thin, flat, and incredibly fast, and the original Edge double-locking tremolo is still one of the smoothest and most reliable systems you can get. If you grew up watching '80s guitar heroes, this is the guitar that was in their hands.

The V7/S1/V8 pickup set delivers that classic hot-rodded tone: thick and aggressive on the bridge humbucker, articulate and cutting in the middle single-coil, and warm but defined at the neck. The basswood body keeps weight manageable for long sets, and the bound rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays nails the vintage RG look. This is a reissue done right, built in Japan with the same specs that made the original legendary.
