Melloxy Gel 50g
Melloxy® is een nieuwe gepatenteerde formule die de goede eigenschappen van honing en geozoneerde olie combineert. Een mengsel van geselecteerde Bulgarian bergbloemen honing en geozoneerde plantaardige olijfolie heeft bewezen excellente antibacteriële en helende eigenschappen te bezitten. De Melloxy® formule zorgt voor een zachte pijnloos aan te brengen gel. Er is 40% honing aanwezig in Melloxy® wound gel. Deze zorgt voor een uitstekend debriderend effect en samen met de geozoneerde olie (11%) voor een sterk antibacterieel milieu door het zeer hoge peroxide gehalte. De pH van Melloxy is 4 en het peroxide getal is 40, dewelke 10 keer hoger is dan gemiddeld in honing.Een dun laagje afgedekt met een gaasje of equivalent is genoeg om een optimaal effect te bekomen. Het verband verwisselen iedere dag of om de twee dagen is voldoende. De zalf zal niet blijven kleven in de wonde.
Gebruik van Melloxy
- Open de schroefdop, op een aseptische wijze.
- Druk de benodigde hoeveelheid gel uit de tube.
- Wrijf de gel in de wonde met een (steriele) spatel.
- Breng een passend afdekverband boven op de gel aan.
- Vervang de zalf zodra de gel opgelost is in de wonde; dit is afhankelijk van de hoeveelheid wondvocht die de wonde produceert (gemiddeld 24 tot 48 uur).
