The watch
Classy Seiko Chronos from 1992 in new old stock condition. Produced for the Japanese domestic market (JDM). Brushed steel with a silver snowflake dial. It features a screw-down crown and a high-quality quartz movement. The day can be displayed in Japanese Kanji and English. Pretty thin, so it slides right under the cuff of your shirt.
The watch is in new old stock condition. There is one small scratch on the top endlink and some light marks on the case back due to storage over 34 years. The case and crystal are scratch-free.

The Seiko 5H23 is a quartz movement introduced in the late 1980s and widely used throughout the 1990s in Seiko dress and everyday models. It is a reliable three-hand caliber with quickset date and central seconds, designed for accuracy and low maintenance. Operating on a standard battery, the 5H23 is known for its durability and straightforward construction, making it one of Seiko’s dependable workhorse quartz movements of the period.
