“Nuala’s Expert Tips!”

I love this new, bigger sized Co-Wash. It was 200ml, now….350ml! 😍

For medium/thick hair that is dry, thirsty, and in need of some extra TLC: You will need to use the New Be Curly Shampoo and the New Co-Wash Shampoo and alternate your routine on wash days. I recommend that you wash your hair every 3/4 days to keep it healthy, moisturized, and strong.

Wash Day 1: You always need to shampoo your hair twice on wash day. Use the stunning New Be Curly Shampoo for the first wash using the method below. Follow it up with the New Aveda Be Curly Co-Wash for the second wash, using the method below.

Wash Day 2: Wash your hair twice using the New Be Curly Co-Wash shampoo only using the method below. 

  1. Apply a small amount of shampoo to the palm of your hand.
  2. Rub the product between your palms and evenly distribute it over your hair, ensuring to cover the roots thoroughly.
  3. Massage the shampoo into your scalp using fast circular motions to loosen buildup and dirt.
  4. With your palms in a praying motion, massage the product down the lengths and ends of your hair.
  5. Rinse thoroughly to remove all buildup and residue, ensuring your hair is clean and ready for styling.

Proper shampooing is essential for maintaining healthy, manageable hair and for getting the best results when styling your curls.

Gentle vibrations and rolling
My sweet old man dog didnt know what to think of this at first. We introduced it to him without turning it on at first, like a regular ball. That was fine, he was good with that and he liked to go chasing it (its heavy because its mechanical so I wouldnt throw it, a light toss/roll is how we started). After we played that way a while we turned it on. At first he was confused as to why his toy was chasing him. It mostly vibrates and bops around a bit. But then my pup started chasing it and kicking it around like a little soccer ball and he LOVED THAT. A charge lasts quite a while too and if he doesnt play with it in for a few minutes it goes to sleep so its not just bouncing constantly and driving me crazy. My pup likes it and it gives me a rest from the constant throwing so I'm happy!

The plastic is easy to chew through

Taking off one star on what would otherwise be a five-star product because dogs can chew off small plastic pieces fairly easily. Other than that, my dogs went wild for this toy and loved playing with it and chewing on it for hours. If your dog isn’t a heavy chewer, I’d definitely recommend it. Otherwise, close supervision is strongly advised. That said, I really like the other materials used, the crinkly fabric carrot top is especially fun and engaging for dogs. Overall, I think this would be an even better product if the material for the carrot base were made from a harder, more durable plastic.
