Some AIRAID MXP Air Intakes start with a replacement one-piece roto-molded air box that addresses the shortcomings of the restrictive factory design. Housed inside the air box is an AIRAID premium air filter for outstanding air flow and filtration. Air is directed through a new air intake tube constructed of cross-linked, high-density polyethylene that is designed using extensive computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Many MXP Air Intake Systems have a built-in velocity stack, which further promotes airflow. What this all means is that you get a simple-to-install, yet extremely sophisticated system to increase air flow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, thereby eliminating the need for recalibration after installation. Fits 2017 and 2018 Honda CRV 1.5l
Easy and perfect fit for 2017 and 2018 Honda CRV with 1.5l engines. You need a Phillips screwdriver to remove the 4 screws holding the airbox. After that you just remove the old one and put the new one in the same orientation and put the screws back on. Helps the engine breathe which can result in slightly more power and mpg. I recommend changing every few years.

Looks identical to the OEM
Changed this filter in a matter of 3 -4 minutes. The fit and feel seems identical to the Honda OEM filter---feels just as heavy and fit exactly. For $10 it's a bargain. I drove about 20 miles after installing, also with no problems. 4 stars because I want to give a long term report...
I will report a few months from now to advise how it held up under North East conditions.
