How to install Panasonic ET-MDN12G10

Installing the ET-MDN12G10 is straightforward when you follow these steps. Ensure you have the appropriate Panasonic chassis or workstation with available PCI/Interface slots and sufficient power for your SDI configuration. Power down all equipment before installation, and handle the card with care to avoid any damage to connectors or boards.

  • 1) Power down and unplug your Panasonic system or chassis. Disconnect all external cables to prevent electrical shock or damage during installation.
  • 2) Locate the available slot or interface bay in your chassis. Align the ET-MDN12G10 so that the connectors and mounting holes line up with the rack or panel guides.
  • 3) Carefully insert the card into the slot, applying even pressure until it is seated securely. Secure the card with the appropriate screw or latch mechanism to prevent movement during operation.
  • 4) Connect your 12G-SDI cables to the appropriate input and input/output ports. Route cables to minimize bending radius and keep power and data cables separated to reduce interference.
  • 5) Reconnect power and all external devices. Power on the system and enter the software or firmware interface for configuration. Verify that the card recognizes both inputs and the two input/output channels, and test a minimal video signal to confirm correct routing and synchronization.
  • 6) If applicable, update firmware through Panasonic’s management utilities and calibrate any timing settings to synchronize with other SDI devices in your chain. Perform a quick burn‑in test to ensure stability under typical production workloads.

Burns My Eyes
If your eyes have a sensitivity to sunscreen, they may have a sensitivity to this one. This product made my eyes burn for two days, with multiple washings. I have had problems with La Roche Posay sunscreen — if that is a helpful association. It has dimethicone —a silicone— in it (which might be the irritant). Its common in beauty products but some people avoid it for various reasons. If you have no sensitivities and don’t mind the silicone, then it could be an acceptable option for the value. It went on smooth and light, left no cast, and had a very mild scent. I will use it on my limbs, but I can’t use this on my face.

WORKS! LIGHT! EASY TO APPLY AND USE!
Took and trip and knew I would be out in the sun. I know this is for the face, but I used on my arms, legs and face. It is light and easy to apply. Not sticky and heavy as some sunblocks can be. I am very pleased with this purchase/find, as it works well and was a fabulous price for this tube.

Nice sunscreen
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Easy to rub in and spread compared to other mineral sunscreens. It goes on a bit white but will blend with lighter toned skin for the most part if you keep rubbing. Provides good sun protection when paired with other sun protection habits and applied regularly! Doesn’t stain fabrics

Better than many expensive options
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1), Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I am shocked at how good this mineral sunscreen is. I am a mineral sunscreen junkie and have so many expensive ($50+ a bottle) high end versions. I have fair/light combo skin and hate greasy, pasty sunscreen. This mineral sunscreen rubs in quickly and isn’t greasy. It out performs MANY high end sunscreens. I love that it has 19% zinc (substantial compared to some others) and is waterproof 80 mins. One thing I found interesting (and awesome) is that iron oxide is listed (last) in the ingredients, which means it has a *very* slight tint. Iron oxide is shown to help block visible/blue light which can be important to people like me with discoloration. This sunscreen is pretty robust for a “basic” drugstore brand. The color is more of a (very pale yellow almost?) off white, not stark white, I think due to the iron oxide listed. I wouldn’t call it tinted, but at least it’s better than paper white sunscreen. In comparison to other thick, heavy, greasy stark white mineral sunscreens, this one is a breeze to rub in! I cannot find anywhere if this sunscreen is nano or non nano, so that’s something to take into consideration if you care, which I really do not. If nano sunscreen is a big concern of yours I would reach out to banana boat to confirm. I purchased this so I don’t have to use my expensive face mineral sunscreens on my body but shockingly this may end up being my new favorite mineral face sunscreen. It isn’t drying on me personally (combo skin leaning oily) and it also wore fine under makeup. The finish is a soft satin after dried down. I’m pretty blown away! It preformed perfect at the pool, even in humidity. I will most likely repurchase. I’m glad to not have to repurchase the more expensive MDSolar science mineral sunscreen I was previously using on my body. I purchased with my own money no paid review! 10 out of 10 for the value and performance from me!!!

Good but left white cast on my skin
Size: 5 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
Overall, I bought this because of the zinc oxide; it is very easy to use, no strong odor, non-sticky. However, it still left white cast on my face. (The intensity of the white cast is still lower compared to other more expensive brand.)
