About this collection:
This is a continuation of the Woodbine Series- This collection of images was an effort to catalog the diverse Nashville suburb the artist lives in. Stafford’s series extends an invitation for the viewer to pore over the mundanity of our dwelling places and relish in the subtle beauty that infiltrates the overgrown, the over-cluttered and overlooked. These small paintings serve as a bid to reclaim the serenity that coexists with the chaos we find ourselves submerged in.
