Protect your virtual and cloud workloads with a modern, scalable data protection solution designed for reliability, simplicity, and predictable costs. The Veeam Backup & Replication Subscription License – 1 Socket (Virtual & Cloud Environments) delivers robust backup, fast recovery, and flexible deployment across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructures. Built for small to mid‑sized environments and adaptable as your business grows, this license provides enterprise-grade capabilities without the complexity or upfront capital expenditure of traditional perpetual licenses.

  • Flexible licensing with predictable costs: A per‑socket subscription model makes budgeting straightforward. You gain ongoing access to software updates, maintenance, and support for the duration of the subscription, eliminating surprises and ensuring you stay current with the latest backup innovations.
  • Comprehensive protection across virtual and cloud workloads: Designed to safeguard VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments, with proven capabilities to protect physical and cloud assets as part of an integrated data protection strategy. This license covers workloads running in on‑premises data centers, private clouds, and public cloud targets through compatible repositories and cloud storage integrations.
  • Fast, reliable backups and rapid restores: Achieve high‑speed backups with efficient deduplication and compression, ensuring minimal impact on production systems. In the event of data loss or downtime, instant VM recovery and granular restores (files, applications, and databases) help you resume normal operations in minutes rather than hours.
  • Automation, policy‑driven management, and scalability: Centralized management through a single console enables policy‑based backup, scheduled job orchestration, and automated verification. The license scales with your environment, allowing you to add sockets as you expand across hosts or hypervisors without overhauling your protection strategy.
  • Security, compliance, and resilience: Protect data with encryption in transit and at rest where your storage supports it, apply role‑based access controls, and integrate with storage targets that offer immutability or WORM capabilities to guard against ransomware and data tampering.

Technical Details of Veeam Backup & Replication Subscription License – 1 Socket (Virtual & Cloud Environments)

  • Licensing model: Subscription‑based, covering a single processor socket. This license includes rights to run the software for the term, plus access to product updates and vendor support during the subscription period.
  • Supported environments: Optimized for virtual environments (e.g., VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper‑V) and designed to integrate with cloud storage targets and hybrid infrastructures, enabling protection for workloads across on‑premises data centers and public clouds.
  • Core capabilities: Backup, replication, deduplication, compression, application‑aware processing, synthetic and active‑full backups, instant VM recovery, granular restores (files, applications, databases), and flexible recoveries to diverse targets.
  • Deployment and scalability: Suitable for on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud deployments. The per‑socket model scales with your environment, allowing you to protect additional hosts and adjust your license count as workloads grow, without disruption to existing jobs.
  • Security and resilience: Includes security features such as encryption, role‑based access control, and compatibility with immutable storage targets to reinforce ransomware resilience and restore confidence in data protection practices.

how to install Veeam Backup & Replication Subscription License – 1 Socket (Virtual & Cloud Environments)

  • Step 1: Confirm system requirements and deploy a suitable server or virtual machine that meets Veeam’s specifications for the Backup & Replication component, including storage, memory, and network considerations.
  • Step 2: Acquire the 1‑socket subscription license and apply it in the Veeam Console. If you receive a license file, import it; if you receive a license key, activate it through the licensing portal and synchronize with your installation.
  • Step 3: Add backup repositories and configure backup proxies or components as needed to optimize data throughput and offload processing from production systems.
  • Step 4: Create backup and replication jobs for virtual machines and cloud workloads. Define preservation points, retention policies, application‑aware processing, and network scheduling to balance performance and protection windows.
  • Step 5: Validate restores with test recovery scenarios, set up alerting and dashboards, and verify that your recovery objectives (RPOs and RTOs) align with business requirements. Regularly test recovery as part of your ongoing data protection plan.

Good interface but unwearable watch band
Color: Black
This review will be divided into 3 sections: looks, usability, and comfort. LOOKS I guess there's not much to say as style is very individual. I think this watch looks good for what you pay for it. USABILITY What I liked about this watch is that I could use it right out of the box. I have had basic Timex digital watches before (never this exact interface), and I was able to quickly figure it out. A quick glance at the manual to make sure I wasn't unaware of any features and I had 100% grasp of all the watch's features. The Timex interface puts many others to shame with its user-friendliness. On this model Timex has added a 'guide' on the display that tells you which button will do what-- increase number, decrease number, etc. This is cool. If you're even remotely handy with interfaces, once you learn this one, you'll know it backwards and forwards, and even if you forget, there's the in-display guide. The functions are standard for a Timex digital-- time and date, stopwatch with lap timing, countdown timer, and alarm. There is a 2nd time zone but no dedicated mode for it. You access it by holding the 'start' button when in the time mode. I like this feature as I occasionally need to know when to call people in 1 particular time zone. But, for example, if you are often switching back and forth between 2 time zones, you will have to reset the time to have the watch display the correct time at all times. And if you need more than 2 time zones, sorry, out of luck. Stopwatch (chrono) is good. Don't use the lap counter much but it seems to work well. Some have complained that the 'start' and 'stop' should be on the same button. Overall, it is a very uncluttered and usable interface. At first I thought it was very inaccurate at timekeeping, but it must have gotten accidentally reset because over the few months since I set it, it's only a couple seconds off from time.gov. very good timekeeping. It seems very water resistant. I have taken it swimming, surfing, and it held up fine. I haven't thoroughly tested its shock resistance but it has done some hiking and climbing where it got banged around a bit and it still works. COMFORT Unfortunately what the watch has in user interface usability, it totally lacks in comfort. The strap is a huge disaster. It is very rigid and uncomfortable. The 'waffling' or indented designs near the bezel on each side of the strap create areas where the strap digs into the wrist. with any prolonged wearing, it gets worse and worse until your wrist is begging you to take it off. The strap is just absolutely godawful. I have read reviews where G Shock owners said it was very good, well though out and comfortable. If that is the case, I shudder to imagine what a G Shock is like on the wrist. If constant pinching around sensitive areas on the side of the wrist seems like it would be the kind of thing to bother you, avoid this watch. I tried swapping it for another Timex band, which amazingly enough was uncomfortable it a DIFFERENT area! It seems Timex doesn't put much thought into their bands-- no part of the band should dig into the wrist. That's just obvious. CONCLUSION I really want to like this watch, I do. It's good-looking. It's very usable in terms of features. But the strap is terrible, so much so that the watch is unwearable. Unfortunately it took me about a week to figure this out, during which time the watch got sufficient wear so that it is no longer new, returnable condition. I am keeping it, using it as a 'beater' watch in the gym (I put my watch on the ground in the gym). If you purchase it I recommend you wear it for a good few hours while not doing anything that will scratch it, so that you can return it if need be.

Terrible
Color: Black
The box comes with 2 watches and a tool that is supposed to help you take out the links to correctly size. The watch bands are huge, several links will need to come off to make this wearable. The tool they sent immediately broke and once you get the link out its nearly impossible to put the pin back correctly. Additionally I set both of the watches to the correct date/time and within 24 hours they were both incorrect. One was 5 minutes slow and the other was 2 minutes slow. The loose band makes it uncomfortable to wear given how heavy the watch is, not worth even the currently low price

Overall Bad
Color: Rose Gold
Impossible to adjust length. Comes with instructions and a tool that do not work out. Watch is way too big and not usable. Time is very hard to set and doesn't sense touch as well as it should considering that's it's purpose.
