The edirb 171/172 is a premium sports reclining seat based on the BRIDE STRADIA?.It has a bone frame newly designed using 3D-CAD and a monocoque body shell that inherits the design of the BRIDE ZETA?. Compared to 033, frame tensile strength is increased by 200%, overall strength is increased by 40%, and backrest strength is increased by 15%. This is a new generation reclining seat that combines the holding performance required for circuit driving with the convenience and comfort required for everyday use at a high level.
The seat and thigh cushions are made of specially designed high-density foam molded urethane, which applies surface pressure evenly to the flat seat surface, ensuring a high level of hold while ensuring long-term use. The sheet is highly durable and causes less fatigue when used, does not easily sag. Furthermore, edirb 171/172 has different models depending on the thigh cushion, and edirb 171 has a moderately thick "standard cushion" specification, and the thickness of the back of the knee is reduced to two-thirds of the standard cushion. The "low cushion" specification is edirb 172.

The shell is a black shell made of highly rigid super aramid, and the outer skin is made of three materials: protein leather, ultra suede, and vegan leather [Viga Primo], and is antibacterial (sterilization and deodorization) compatible. edirb161/162 and 171/172 use a newly developed one-touch reclining lever that pursues operability, convenience, and durability. Backlash and backlash are suppressed to the absolute minimum through stepwise adjustment, achieving more secure hold and comfort. In addition, a belt hole for a 6-point harness has been newly installed on the back of the seat, making it suitable for circuit driving. (The hole size of edirb161/162, which emphasizes holdability, is slightly smaller than edirb171/172 to suppress the movement of the belt.)

Adoption of new material vegan leather [Viga Primo]

In addition to the protein leather and ultrasuede that have been used in the conventional edirb series, we also use vegan leather [Viga Primo], a new artificial leather that reproduces the structure of genuine leather without using animal-derived materials. It is soft to the touch, yet has excellent durability and ease of maintenance, so it is used on the top surface of the third support, which is prone to chafing when getting on and off.
