वामन जयंती व्रत हर साल भाद्रपद माह (अगस्त–सितंबर) के शुक्ल पक्ष की द्वादशी तिथि को रखा जाता है। यह व्रत सभी लिंगों के भक्तों द्वारा भगवान विष्णु के पाँचवें अवतार, वामन भगवान के जन्मोत्सव के रूप में मनाया जाता है। पौराणिक कथा के अनुसार, भगवान वामन ने बौने ब्राह्मण का रूप धारण कर असुर राजा बलि के अभिमान को समाप्त किया और तीनों लोकों को पुनः देवताओं को लौटाकर सृष्टि में संतुलन स्थापित किया। सांसारिक लाभों में अहंकार और नकारात्मकता का नाश, विपत्तियों से रक्षा, आध्यात्मिक उन्नति, इच्छाओं की पूर्ति, समृद्धि, तथा व्यक्तिगत और पारिवारिक जीवन में सुख-शांति और सौहार्द की प्राप्ति शामिल है।
