Alessandro Scarlatti's St John Passion was the first Passion setting written in seventeenth-century Italy. Scarlatti treats the role of the Evangelist (composed in the mezzo-soprano register) in highly unusual fashion, giving his narrative numerous emotional passages. The Voice of Christ (bass) is invariably haloed by a string accompaniment. The version presented by Leonardo García Alarcón inserts meditations assigned to the chorus; these are taken from Scarlatti's Responsories for Holy Week, polyphonic settings that reveal a little-known genre practiced by this composer.

A pricy scarf, but worth it for its warmth and softness

Came in a box that would look like it was be used as a gift. Scarf was really soft and warm and the color matches the imaged shown on the product images. The length and size was true to what was said. Gave this as a gift for valentines day and the other person was happy to receive and and like it as well. I will say that the price of the scarf is pretty pricy but I guess that's why you have to pay for a pretty good quality scarf.

Cute, warmth and quality!

Comfortable, cute and kept me warm, but not too hot. The cashmere felt great, extremely soft, and it didn’t mess up my hair like a synthetic hat can. We were out in subzero weather, and this baby did its job!

Perfect fit for a small woman or teenager

I think this beanie is a great price for the quality. It’s about as soft as wool can possibly be. I was very impressed by the packaging. It made me feel like I was opening a luxury item, which is nice because it was reasonably priced. They even included a bit of extra yarn in case it needs repairs someday. It does fit a bit snug. I have a small head, so it might be uncomfortable for someone with a bigger head. I definitely would NOT buy this for a man. It’s comfortable for a small female only, or a teenager. Overall, I think it’s a good hat for the price.
