We have created this baby sweater using our soft and delicate LAMB yarn, but you also have the option to make it with our luxurious PURE silk. The mini BOYFRIEND sweater is a miniature version of our popular boyfriend sweater. Like all our boyfriend patterns, this sweater can be worn inside out or right side out. We have created this baby sweater using our soft and delicate LAMB yarn, but you also have the option to make it with our luxurious PURE silk.
The mini BOYFRIEND sweater is worked from the top down and is designed to be worn with either the right side or the wrong side showing, depending on your preference. The neckline is shaped using short rows, while the increases are made on either side of the patterned stitches to enhance the raglan shaping. These patterned stitches also emphasise the side 'seams' of the body and the underside of the sleeves. When changing yarns, be sure to do so at the patterned stitches on the sides of the body or the undersides of the sleeves, as well as at the raglan decreases. This will help conceal the transition between yarns.
