Description:
Here for your consideration is a 2022 USA Fender Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster in very good condition! This one has been modified with a '57/'62 loaded pickguard for more of a classic/vintage Strat tone. The body is in overall very good condition with only some light surface marks. It does have a finish crack on the neck pocket (see photo) but it's purely cosmetic and does not penetrate the wood of the body. Also appears someone began to route out the pickup cavities (see photo), but did not make it very far. Besides those few issues the body is in excellent condition. Neck and headstock are in excellent, nearly mint condition with no notable blemishes. Fretboard is very clean. Frets show some light wear in the root positions but otherwise have no issues and plenty of life in them. Hardware is all very clean and fully functional. Bridge saddles have been replaced. Electronics work great and feature a set of '57/'62 pickups. Gone are the blasphemous noiseless pickups and active circuitry leaving you with a classic vintage style Stratocaster electronics setup. Overall a very clean Clapton Strat that plays great and is in overall very good shape. Has been fully inspected and set up by our shop tech. Includes gig bag.
