What Does It Do?

Treatment of the enclosure

Note: Do not apply directly to the reptile. 

Top tip: First, remove the animal from the enclosure (up to 60 mins). Remove all substrates before treatment. Spray all areas of the enclosure from a distance of 10cm to allow for even spread. Keep the infested animal on paper towels or non-printed paper until the mites are eradicated. Do not reuse old substrate to avoid re-infestation. It is good practice to freeze all new substrates for at least 36 hours before use.

How to use

Shake well before use!   

5min routine treatment

Spray all surfaces of the enclosure & decor and allow to air dry for 5-10 minutes. Before wiping with a clean damp paper towel or cloth before returning the animal. Ensure plenty of ventilation! 

60min heavy infestation treatment

Leave to air dry for 60 minutes. Before wiping with a clean damp paper towel or cloth before returning the animal. Ensure plenty of ventilation.

Note: 

Use biocides with caution. Take extra care when used around amphibians such as frogs and newts do not allow Mite Gone to come in contact with them to avoid adverse effects.
