Introducing the Percussion Plus Honestly Made Ghanaian superior djembe

These quality djembes from Ghana are hand carved from solid, chunky African cedar wood. The cedar wood creates a bright sound thanks to the small size of these drums.

The traditional goatskin head gives a beautiful, complex tone with plenty of overtones and a tight attack. It is also extremely durable, letting you really go for it during a performance or practice session. They are rope tuned for increased accuracy and double stringed for stable tuning.

Authentic construction

Using traditional materials and methods passed down from master builders, these djembes feature double weave rope tuning which gives the instruments incredibly tonal versatility and tuning stability. Intricate designs are hand-carved on every djembe for a traditional finish, unique to each drum.

Sturdy but stitched weird
This is a sturdy toy with thick fabric. I love the printing and the rope inside. My coonhound destroys anything resembling plush in a heartbeat and this is perfect for her. The weird thing is the stitching. When making something with a pattern, you'd usually turn the outsides to each other, stitch it up, then turn it "inside out" (which is then actually right-side out) and stitch up the last bit after filling or whatever. This was just put together right-side out and stitched, so it looks kind of unfinished. The stitching is solid, no complaints there, but it keeps it from being a great gift, which it could be if it was stitched better. When I looked at the pictures of the different options I noticed some were stitched like mine and some "normally". Weird. Otherwise great.
