The GeoVision Video Surveillance System with a 2 TB HDD delivers a dependable, scalable security solution designed for small to mid-sized properties. This network video recorder (NVR) kit combines robust storage, high-definition recording, and easy integration with cameras to provide clear, actionable footage when it matters most. With support for up to eight channels, you can monitor multiple entrances, hallways, and exterior zones from a single, centralized system. The 1920 x 1080 camera resolution ensures crisp, detailed footage, making identification easier in varied lighting conditions, while HDMI output lets you view high-definition live feeds and playback directly on a monitor or TV screen. The included 2 TB hard drive provides ample space for hours of video retention, enabling you to store recent footage for quick review or longer periods for compliance and investigations. This system is built for reliability and straightforward operation, featuring user-friendly setup, fast recording performance, and flexible storage management to fit your security needs.

  • Up to 8 Channel Capacity — Configure and monitor up to eight cameras simultaneously, enabling comprehensive coverage of key areas such as entry points, parking lots, and perimeters from a single device.
  • Crystal-Clear 1080p Video — Each connected camera delivers 1920 × 1080 resolution for sharp, detailed footage that enhances facial recognition, license plate capture, and scene analysis.
  • 4K Recording Capabilities — Designed to support higher-resolution recording where compatible cameras are available, providing future-proof scalability while maintaining reliable performance on existing channels.
  • Generous 2 TB HDD Storage — A large hard drive offers ample retention time, making it easier to retain footage for investigations while balancing network bandwidth and playback speed.
  • HDMI Output for Local Viewing — Connect to HDMI-enabled displays for immediate, high-definition live monitoring and fast playback without needing network streaming on local screens.

how to install GeoVision Video Surveillance System

  • Unbox and verify components: Confirm the NVR unit, the included 2 TB HDD, power supply, camera cables, and any mounting hardware are present. Inspect for any shipping damage and ensure you have all necessary connectors before starting assembly.
  • Install the hard drive and secure the drive bay: If the HDD is not pre-installed, open the NVR chassis according to the user manual, insert the 2 TB drive into the drive bay, and secure it with the provided screws. Ensure the drive is properly seated to avoid connection issues.
  • Connect cameras and power: Run camera cables from each surveillance point to the NVR’s input ports. If you are using PoE cameras, connect them to the PoE-enabled ports on the NVR. For non-PoE cameras, you may need an external power source or a separate switch, depending on your setup.
  • Connect to display and network: Attach an HDMI or monitor to the NVR for local viewing, and connect the NVR to your local network via Ethernet for remote access. Ensure the network provides stable bandwidth to support multiple camera streams.
  • Power up and initial configuration: Plug in the NVR, boot the system, and access the setup wizard. Configure date and time, camera channels, recording schedules, motion detection preferences, and storage retention settings. Create user accounts with appropriate permissions for security and convenience.
  • Camera pairing and channel assignment: Add each camera by their IP address or plug-and-play discovery, assign them to the available channels, and verify live video feeds. Adjust stream settings (resolution, frame rate, bitrate) for optimal balance between image quality and storage use.
  • Set up recording modes and alerts: Define continuous, motion-triggered, or scheduled recording profiles. Configure alert notifications via email or push notification when motion is detected or a camera loses connection.
  • Perform a test run: Review playback, test search functions, and confirm that footage is being stored to the 2 TB drive. Confirm accessibility from a remote device and ensure that user accounts have the correct access privileges.
  • Secure the system: Update firmware to the latest version, configure strong passwords, enable network security features, and establish a regular maintenance schedule to keep the system performing at its best.

So far happy.
Size: One Size, Color: Glossy Nappa Black
As everyone has made clear, it holds credit cards very tight. Almost 3 weeks in & mine seems to be breaking in a little, but cards are still a bit difficult to remove. No complaints with money clip. One thing I thought was a dumb move on manufacturers part, was inside one of the card slots is a tag sewn into the seem. This makes things alot worse while trying to fit cards into all slots. The tag will catch on the cards & bunch up in the corner of the slot making things even tighter in that slot, plus all slots surrounding it. I was able to get a scissors in there enough to cut most of the tag out, without cutting the stitching itself....it made a big difference....enough to fit an extra card in & without it bulging up the wallet overall. Why would they feel it necessary to do this is beyond my pay grade. Its not like you can even see what the tag says until you cut it out.... I believe it was the name & logo....but Jesus, how unnecessary, & in the dumbest place one could possibly think of. Especially when EVERYONE comments on how excessively tight it is to fit cards in the slots & also be able to retrieve them with relative ease when needed. Overall I am happy with this wallet so far.... I'll be interested to see if it holds together over the long haul or if the stitching gives out in a year & has to be replaced. I will update this review as time progresses. UPDATE: Its almost to March 27 2023 & its been holding up great. No ripping or tearing stitching holding strong. Still holds cards really tight, but they are easier to remove.

Worth the money
I have tried other slim wallets but keep coming back to AlpineSwiss. Theirs are much better in construction and in material, and last extremely long. Much better than the cheaper alternatives. Consider paying a bit more but getting your moneys worth with these guys.

Nice, but ultimately unusable
Size: One Size, Color: Brown
The credit card slots are too deep leaving very little of the card sticking out. If you use all of the credit card slots, the thing gets so tight. It is fierce difficult to get the cards out.

Great front pocket wallet/money clip
Size: One Size, Color: Brown
This was for my husband’s birthday. He loved it. He’s also a bit picky with his front pocket wallet/money clips. He doesn’t like the money clips with the magnet. This very good and holds a good wad of cash or a few bills without it being loose or him afraid he’s going to loose something. Also has the window for his license. Holds plenty of cards as well.
