This portable yet sturdy rig makes it easy to set up and tear down tall lighting and speaker configurations in theaters, outdoor venues, and other performance spaces. To accommodate a wide range of lighting effects, the stand adjusts in height and your settings are reinforced with the included locking pin to ensure safe, secure, reliable equipment support. The upper shaft can be completely extended to reach over 13 feet in height, for towering lighting. It can also be lowered to a minimum of just over six feet tall. For ergonomic setup and teardown, this stand raises and lowers the upper shaft via a hand-cranked ratcheting winch, making it much easier for you to fully elevate and safely lower your heavy equipment. At the top of the shaft a horizontal T-bar holds your light fixtures with four available mounting spaces that accept PAR cans, LEDs, spots, lasers, projectors, moving heads, and other effects.  Upper shaft enables you to mount lights weighing up to 185 pounds. With its lengthy legs, the braced tripod base is a solid foundation, providing outstanding stability and load balance to ensure safe, reliable support for your overhead equipment.
