This scoop is designed for raw water intake systems, such as those used in static intakes like toilets and gensets. The scoop grating can be secured to the hull using a marine sealant and is also fixed with a brass locking nut and washer. Important note: All fittings used for through hull applications must be correctly electrically bonded to ensure protection from electrolytic corrosion.
