Analogue Timer DIN Rail

Overview

The MTD4 Analogue Timer is a versatile and easy-to-use DIN rail mountable time switch, designed for precise control of various electrical systems such as lighting, geysers, pool pumps, and more. It features a 24-hour programmable cycle with 96 adjustable pins, allowing for a minimum switching interval of 15 minutes per pin for precise, customizable scheduling. Capable of handling resistive loads up to 16A and LED lighting up to 1000W, the MTD4 provides reliable and efficient automation. The various manual override functions offer flexible control options, while a 200-hour battery backup ensures uninterrupted operation during power outages. Built for durability, the MTD4 operates with standby consumption of 2.5VA, and a robust load rating. The MTD4 includes flexible switching options with both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) switching, enabling alternating control or compatibility for applications that require different switching configurations. This allows for seamless automation of two separate loads, or for use in circuits that require either a normally open or normally closed connection, depending on the application.

Features

  • Switching Capacity Supporting a range of loads with a maximum of 16A for resistive loads and 4A for inductive loads at 230V AC, and suitable for LED lighting systems (up to 1000W) or other high demand applications.
  • Program Settings with 96 pins allowing for daily schedules to be set with a minimum time interval of 15 minutes, offering precise control over connected devices.
  • Manual Override offering multiple modes—automatic functioning for preset schedules or permanent connection, permanent disconnection or temporary reversal of the current switch status. (Switching Preselection)
  • Power Reserve up to 200-hour battery backup after a full 24-hour recharge, ensuring uninterrupted operation during power outages or fluctuations.
  • Operating Accuracy of less than or equal to 1 second per day at 25°C, delivering consistent and accurate performance.
  • Power Consumption of 2.5VA, ensuring efficient power use while the timer is in operation.
  • IP20 for safe and reliable operation under correct installation conditions.
  • DIN rail mountable for ease of integration into switchboard cabinets.

Very creative and engaging
Format: Hardcover
Kinda blown away that this is a first novel! In a not-so-distant future, the protagonist Lee is a recent grad of an elite Program where she has dedicated her life to achievement. She's disappointed to be sent to a no-name company and assigned to a mysterious project. Learning she must gather data to help AI become more human, it's sadly funny as the only way she knows to gather data is by going online. I really loved the book's portrayal of the future, in which NYC is a dead city and the Midwest is where all the action is. The future portrayed here is just a tad more digitized than our current time. Instead of cooking people order food and it is delivered instantly (not just meals, but like if you want a cookie it's delivered instantly), purchase clothing by tapping the glass display windows at empty stores, and eat at restaurants by tapping on screens and having food shot out at them by machines. When Lee discovers a "primitive" restaurant that is actually staffed by humans and has menus, she is drawn to the place over and over again and starts to discover the magic of real life interaction. Lee, who is socially awkward to the point of agony, gradually becomes comfortable interacting with humans IRL. It's touching and funny as she navigates things like friendship, getting drinks or coffee and even dating. But the book takes a dark turn as Lee's drive for perfection and her assignment to "experience life" for the AI spin out of control. This book started off reminding me of "The Factory" by Hiroko Amayada and turned into shades of "The Rosie Project". Touching and truly original, well worth reading!

Poignant
Format: Hardcover
This is definitely a slow burn. A poignant look at the idea of loneliness, though I often think about how the technology presented in near future worlds make people feel less tangibly human.
