My wife, little brother, and I headed out to Lost Lake leaving around 11pm. We were getting really close to the lake, when all of the sudden a huge cougar jumps across the hood of our Subaru Outback. Completely stunned by what had just happened we all looked at each other in disbelief for several minutes. We then continued on, made it to the lake where the Milky Way was reflecting perfectly along with Mt. Hood. It was an incredible and memorable night.
