Fitment
This item will fit all Mk2 Scirocco's with the standard European sized rear lights.
A suitable adhesive is required for fitment.
* If using on the road you will need to relocate your number plate ensuring that it conforms to all local laws and standards.
Fitment Guide
- Remove your rear number plate and black plastic number plate panel.
- Fully degrease the 2x polycarbonate brackets and fit using the supplied M4 screws and washers, do nut fully tighten the screws, allow a small amount of movement of the brackets
- Place the heckblende over the brackets, centralise and ensure the panel fits flush with the rear lights. If needed file the brackets for the perfect fitment.
- Once the panel is correctly aligned tighten the bracket screws.
- Clean the rear face of the heckblende panel using a degreaser and bond the Heckblende panel to the brackets using an epoxy (Araldite, Gorilla etc..) or panel sealent (tiger seal, sikaflex etc..), place masking tape over the panel to ensure it stays in position whilst drying.
- Ensure the brackets are fully bonded and remove the panel
- If necessary add some more glue/ Sealent around the brackets to ensure a strong bond
- Paint the heckblende to your desired colour/ finish and refit.
