Gatefold double LP limited to 400 copies. The last and long-overdue work of the highly influential, enigmatic, near-mythical Italian group Fockewulf 190. As protagonists of the dark side of Italo disco that evolved and developed in the mid '80s, they influenced countless newborn artists all over the globe. This final studio LP, The First and Second Side of the Mystic Synth, in combination with a re-work of the 1986 demo LP In the Rooms of Memory, represents the final chapter of Fockewulf 190's output, as mastermind and co-leader Victor Life (who formed Fockewulf together with vocalist Dario Dell'Aere) sadly passed away in early 2014. Fockewulf 190 was created as a shape equal to a substance, experimental analog electronic music connected to the theatrical power of rock and the romantic and aesthetic force of electronic dance music of the '80s. Fockewulf translated those expressive channels with the force of a psychedelic mind folded into a magic and evocative world. Decades after their formation, their esoteric electronic music and evocative vision can be fully appreciated by a freshly synthesized generation, offering something remarkably definitive and, quite honestly, essential. Also available as part of a limited edition four-LP/7" box that also includes the 2011 compilation Microcosmos 82-86 (PRIP 004BOX).

Great Beard Balm
Scent: Sandalwood, Size: 2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I was a little unsure when I opened the canister - I’m used to beard balms being more like lotion. This is solid in the can. However, one scoop with my finger - then rub with my fingers together and apply to my beard (I immediately message into my hair on my head after my beard). Keeps hair soft, conditioned, and just a bit of hold. The Sandlewood scent is just the right amount! Works great and easy to message into my beard.

Good Smell, Tough Texture
Scent: Sandalwood, Size: 2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
The scent is actually pretty good. The sandalwood smells natural and clean, not overly strong or chemical-like. It has a nice masculine smell that most guys will probably like.
My biggest issue is the texture. The balm is pretty hard in the container, and it’s actually difficult to dig your finger in to get some out. I expected it to be a little softer and easier to work with. Once you warm it up in your hands it melts down okay, but getting it out of the tin takes more effort than it should.
As far as performance, it does help tame the beard a bit and adds some light conditioning, but the hold isn’t very strong. If you have a thicker or more stubborn beard, you may find it doesn’t control it as much as you’d like.
Overall, the scent is good and the quality seems decent, but the hardness of the balm and average hold make it just an okay product for me. That’s why I landed at three stars.

The vanilla scent is not overpowering. I smell it when I first use it in the morning but not all day long. The balm is good and keeps my beard looking good all day.
