Happy MediumHappy Medium is the title of Johns sophomore album, acting as a benchmark for his progression as a producer, pianist and mixer. His stylistic tendencies progressed and had shifted from a minimalistic to a more complex, harmony rich, groove centered sensibility, tipping his hat to jazz and lo fi hip hop. Tonally, John became fixated on the sounds produced by his apartment sized piano and used that as the foundation on which the record was built.
