Discover a cost-effective, high-performance SFP transceiver designed for Juniper networks. This Juniper compatible EX-SFP-GE10KT14R13 is functionally identical to the OEM 1000BASE-BX-D BiDi module, delivering reliable 1 Gbps connectivity over a single-mode fiber link up to 20 kilometers. Built to meet strict industry standards, it supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time health monitoring and straightforward management, while offering the accuracy, compatibility, and performance you expect from the Juniper ecosystem. ENET’s optics deliver a guaranteed, OEM-compatible solution at a fraction of the price, enabling seamless deployment across data centers, campuses, and enterprise networks without compromising quality or functionality.

  • Functionally identical, OEM-compatible transceiver — Designed to match the performance and electrical characteristics of the Juniper EX-series 1000BASE-BX-D module, ensuring seamless interoperability with your Juniper devices and switch ports without driver or firmware conflicts.
  • BiDi 1000BASE-BX-D with long reach — This BiDi SFP operates with Tx at 1490 nm and Rx at 1310 nm, enabling a single pair of fibers to carry both directions. It supports fiber-optic links up to 20 km, making it ideal for data center interconnects and campus backbone applications while reducing fiber footprint.
  • Single-mode, LC simplex installation — Built for single-mode fiber with an LC simplex connector, this transceiver delivers robust performance in long-haul deployments and matches the standard SFP form factor for straightforward hot-swapping in compatible switches and routers.
  • Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) and reliability — With DOM support, you can monitor critical link parameters in real time (optical power, temperature, voltage, transceiver status), enabling proactive maintenance and faster troubleshooting to maximize uptime.
  • Cost-effective, quality-assured solution — ENET’s ecosystem delivers a dependable, vendor-agnostic option that preserves performance and compatibility while substantially reducing total cost of ownership, backed by warranties and tested across a broad range of Juniper configurations.

how to install Juniper Compatible EX-SFP-GE10KT14R13

Follow these general installation guidelines to ensure a correct and reliable deployment. These steps reflect standard SFP installation practices and are designed to be compatible with Juniper switches and routers that accept 1000BASE-BX-D BiDi modules.

  • Prepare the link — Verify that your network ports, fiber cabling, and SFP slots are ready for an upgrade or new installation. Confirm that you are using single-mode fiber with an LC simplex termination and that the other end of the link is equipped with a compatible BiDi partner module or switch.
  • Power considerations — In most Juniper devices, SFPs can be hot-swapped. If your equipment requires a power-down procedure, follow the manufacturer's guidance before removing any module. In many cases, you can insert the transceiver while the system is powered, but always adhere to your device’s service policy.
  • Insert the transceiver — Align the module with the SFP port and insert firmly until it is seated with a gentle click. Ensure the tab engages and that the module sits flush with the port face. Do not force the module beyond its stop.
  • Connect the fiber — Attach a single-mode fiber patch cord with LC connectors to the SFP’s LC simplex port. Verify that the fiber orientation is correct and that the fiber ends are clean and free of contaminants. Use appropriate cable management to avoid strain on the connector.
  • Power-on and verify — Power on or continue operation of the device, then access the device management interface to verify link status. Confirm that the transceiver reports as operational, check link lights, and, if available, review DOM data to confirm healthy optical parameters.
  • Troubleshooting — If the link does not come up, re-check fiber polarity and connectors, ensure TX/RX are properly connected to the corresponding ends, and validate that both sides are configured for 1000BASE-BX-D. If issues persist, reseat the module or replace with a known-good spare to isolate a potential hardware problem.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: Is this Juniper EX-series compatible? A: Yes. The Juniper Compatible EX-SFP-GE10KT14R13 is designed to be functionally identical to the OEM 1000BASE-BX-D BiDi module and interoperates with Juniper devices that support BiDi SFPs, ensuring seamless integration with existing networks.
  • Q: What kind of fiber and distance does it support? A: It uses single-mode fiber with an LC simplex connector and supports link distances up to 20 kilometers, depending on fiber quality, receiver sensitivity, and network design.
  • Q: Does it support Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM)? A: Yes. DOM is supported, enabling real-time monitoring of parameters such as optical power and transceiver temperature to aid in proactive maintenance and diagnostics.
  • Q: Is the module hot-swappable? A: In most Juniper deployments, SFP modules are hot-swappable. Always follow your specific device’s maintenance guidelines, but this module is designed for standard hot-swapping in compatible equipment.

Great for indoor use.
Size: 10-11, Color: Cable Knit Navy
I bought a pair of these for myself about a year ago and there are plusses and minuses to them. They are comfortable and warm, without getting my feet sweaty or whatever. That's exactly what I wanted. On the minus side, mine ran far too small. I am a 10.5-11 shoe size and the 10-11 is about a half inch too short... my heels are sliding off the back. I am reordering a size 12-13 to try that one. In the take note column, the soles are NOT rubberized in any way. In fact they are like foam, and will absorb water! Also they do not provide cushioning against any kind of rough surface. I think they are perfect for strictly inside the apartment use, but they are not like moccasins or something that allow outdoor use. And I am ordering a 2nd pair after a year so I do like them.

Wonderful sock slippers
Size: 12-13, Color: Cable Knit Navy
These are wonderful sock slippers, They are very warm and well made. After reading reviews, I decided to order one size larger (10 to 11) and they are really comfortable big. However, I'm glad I did because they a lot easier to put on and take off. Highly recommended.

You get what you pay for
Size: 10-11, Color: Cable Knit Black
Comfy but cheaply made. I bought these for the price and expected them to be not the best quality but they are even less than I expected. Please also note that they run small. I got a 10-11 since I wear 11 shoe and Amazon recommended this size. I think a size larger would have been better. Not worth returning though. I’ll just wear them this winter if they last that long and get a better brand next time.
