  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Lemon juice: 1 tbsp

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan; add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
  2. Add sliced onions and green chilies; sauté until onions are golden.
  3. Add chopped basale leaves and cook until wilted.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice and salt; stir well.

Ingredients:

  • Split pigeon peas (toor dal): 1 cup
  • Basale leaves: 1 cup, chopped

  • Mustard seeds: 1 tsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt: to taste

  • Soy sauce: 1 tbsp
  • Oil: 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions:

  1. Heat oil in a pan; add minced garlic and sauté for a minute.
  2. Add julienned carrot and sliced capsicum; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add chopped basale leaves, soy sauce, salt, and pepper; stir well.
  4. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and serve hot.

5. Basale Leaf Fritters

Ingredients:

  • Basale leaves: 1 cup, chopped
  • Gram flour (besan): 1 cup
  • Rice flour: 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies: 1-2, chopped
  • Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Water: as needed
  • Oil: for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, combine gram flour, rice flour, chopped basale leaves, green chilies, cumin seeds, and salt.
  2. Gradually add water to form a thick batter.

Love it! Both sides, soft, cool and cozy
I am a very HOT sleeper and I love this blanket! I have a couple other cooling blankets including the Rest brand which is now extremely expensive. This blanket is just as good as Rest's, if not better because it has two different sides.
