Free-standing sculpture combining and assembling an 18th century Italian figure of christ and sunrays in a sculpted celestite heart with celestite crystals and mounted on aragonite crystals that resemble a cloud. The piece is based on 1 Samuel 16:7 which reads, “Man sees the appearance, but the Lord sees the heart.”
This piece is currently on display at the Chiostro Grande of the Basilica della Santissima Annunziata as part of il Sacro nell'Arte.
