This year, GIZEMO presents the classic first-generation N-1 NAVY alpaca wool jacket as part of its Factory Legacy series. In our view, "authentic reissue" goes beyond merely restoring the original contractor’s name or simply replacing labels. It represents a more rigorous and thorough approach to restoration—not only in form but also in spirit.  

For this authentic reissue of the first-generation N-1 NAVY, we have refined multiple details:  

The Jungle cloth fabric has been softened, and its khaki color recalibrated to better match the original texture. The cut has been optimized under the arms for greater comfort and mobility. After a year of careful adjustments, the wool ribbing now strikes the perfect balance between authenticity and elasticity, recreating the distinctive textured structure of that era. The zipper uses a Talon M41 aluminum tooth design identical to the original, and the label follows the authentic reissue specifications.  

From the final product, these subtle refinements achieve just the right effect—coming close to what we consider perfection.
