हरियाली तीज व्रत एक पवित्र हिन्दू पर्व है जिसे मुख्यतः विवाहित महिलाएं उत्तर भारत के राज्यों जैसे राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार और मध्य प्रदेश में श्रद्धा से मनाती हैं। यह व्रत श्रावण मास (जुलाई–अगस्त) के शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया तिथि को आता है, जो भगवान शिव और माता पार्वती को समर्पित होता है। इस दिन महिलाएं माता पार्वती का पूजन करके उनके आशीर्वाद से सुखी और दीर्घायु वैवाहिक जीवन की कामना करती हैं। यह व्रत देवी पार्वती द्वारा कठोर तप कर भगवान शिव को पुनः प्राप्त करने की कथा से प्रेरित है। कुंवारी लड़कियां भी इस व्रत को करती हैं ताकि उन्हें उत्तम और आदर्श वर की प्राप्ति हो सके।
