Since before the release of Naked Truth, Tinsley has performed over 200 solo acoustic shows throughout America. Dates in support of Labor Of Love begin in the Southeast, with three shows in his home state of Georgia. The following months will see Tinsley on the road constantly, including shows in Buffalo, Detroit, Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Denver, Boulder, Omaha, Phoenix, Little Rock, Boston, Portsmouth, Washington, DC, New York and Philadelphia.

Labor Of Love is a raw, edgy, self-produced set of 13 original compositions spinning modern tales of floods, conflagrations, voodoo spirits, personal hardship and heaven-sent prayers. The performances utilize six and twelve-string Martin acoustics, a 1937 National Steel guitar and, on three tracks, mandolin. The songs carry the weight, hard-earned wisdom and humor Ellis picked up over four decades on the road. Labor Of Love is as profoundly deep as any music he’s made in his career, mixing gentle beauty with foot-pounding ferocity.
