Alfred Walter Campbell - 'Snowy' Campbell - was a pioneer of the neurosciences in Australia. From rural New South Wales, he trained in medicine in Edinburgh and did his early research in Prague and at the County Lunatic Asylum at Rainhill in Lancashire. Campbell's major work, the first histological study of the minute structures of the human brain and their functions, led to international recognition. On his return to Australia, he began in clinical practice, completed a study of localisation in the cerebellum, and in 1915 spent a year in the Australian Army Medical Corps dealing with neurological casualties from Gallipoli. Later in his busy career, he completed the first histological study of the gorilla's brain and with others comprehensively investigated the disease that became known as Murry Valley Encephalitis. He died in 1937. Italo Calvino maintained that 'a classic is a book that comes before other classics; but anyone who has read the others first, and then reads this one, instantly recognizes its place in the family tree'. In telling us the captivating biography of Snowy Campbell, Macmillan introduces us to his Histological Studies on the Localisation of Cerebral Function, restoring it to its proper role as a classic in neuroscience. Should you be interested in ascending the neuroscience mountain of knowledge, you will be elated in finding the pioneering climbing bolts that Snowy left and which Macmillan meticulously found for us.

It is what I was looking for
Size: 10-13, Color: Black Lattice
The product is use for a at home slipper so that I don't need to wear shoes. I can relate my feet with a soft support on the bottom of my feet.

Great treat replacing for motivated dogs!!!
Color: Yellow
i use this ball strictly for training purposes with my Aussie who is super obsessed with balls. My dog seriously loves this ball. This has taken the place of treats. When we aren’t training the ball goes in a closet. So far it’s durable enough for our training session. (If we have a good session he is rewarded with having free access to the ball for a limited time, he enjoys a little tug so I normally hold the rope and let him have at the ball) for $10 id say it’s worth it. It’s definitely not indestructible but it is cheaper for me to replace these than buying treats every week as rewards.

Fun toy
Color: Orange
Well made. The puppies love it, BUT it is too hard for them at an early age ( 2 1/2 months. They ended up grabbing the rope. As they got 5-6 months they were fine. Make another model 1 inch smaller and half as hard Belgian Malinois & Doberman.

Durable & great deal
Color: Orange and Yellow
My foster German Shepherd has a jaw that's locked and loaded but love these cause I can play tug of war or fling it way across the yard. He's chewed or busted every ball he's received except these. I'm loving them. Very durable, bounces too really well and I can find it easily with the colors.

Small balls and came apart
Color: Orange and Yellow
My dog loves them; these are my first set of this type of toy. Good quality materials, but the knot in the rope came undone and the ball came off in 3days. I had someone fix and re-tie and it has held up so far. The next set I’ll get in a larger size, they’re a tad small for my dog’s mouth.
