Lid Sensor — mechanical safety in addition to biometric: The integrated sensor automatically detects the opening of the lid and immediately stops the rotation of all rotors. It is a complementary protection to biometric locking: security against unauthorized access (fingerprint) is combined with mechanical handling security (lid sensor). Once closed, the cycle automatically resumes according to the programmed modes.

It is not suitable for quartz watches (battery-powered), solar watches, manual-wind watches (which are wound only by the crown), or smartwatches.
