Artist Damian Elwes paintings are found in galleries, museums and private collections around the world. While creating on canvas, he wipes the excess paint from his brushes onto his clothing. This pair of vintage denim has been repurposed into a Damian Elwes original.
In piece "Number 70" Damian was wearing a pair of these straight leg vintage jeans. He wrote MATISSE on the inside, reminding him that he was painting his MATISSE STUDIO piece at that time. Check out all of the different colors that he uses in his paintings. This is obviously reflected in the paint on this pair of jeans. Great look and great fit with this One-Of-A-Kind pair!
Because they are created while Damian is at work, most of the paint is on the front and sides. The paint he uses is acrylic, therefore the colors will not fade or come off.
This pair is also HAND-SIGNED by Damian Elwes.
