Vintage amber‑glass locket pendant featuring a warm honey‑toned oval cabochon topped with an ornate brass floral appliqué. The front is framed with detailed repoussé work, while the back shows soft age patina consistent with mid‑century European brass. The pendant opens to reveal an interior filigree panel on one side and a photo compartment on the other, complete with its original transparent celluloid cover.
The cabochon has a small factory indentation near the bezel—an original manufacturing quirk rather than damage. It sits partly beneath the prongs and is barely noticeable when worn.
The chain signed Krementz is a later addition: a gold plated serpentine style from the 1960s–70s, in very good condition. The pendant itself aligns with 1940s European work, likely German or Czech, based on the glass, brass construction, and interior architecture.
Very good vintage condition overall, with functional hinge and clasp and age‑appropriate patina.
