Something with a vintage aesthetic this time. The Seiko x TicTac SZSB006 was released to celebrate the 35th anniversary of TicTac, a well-known Japanese watch retailer with boutiques across Japan, known for exclusive collaborations and limited domestic releases. This model was available only in Japan, making it a true JDM (Japan Domestic Market) piece that was never officially distributed internationally.
This SZSB006 with its classic military-inspired design features a matte black dial with warm cream lume and distinctive cathedral hands, giving it a subtle vintage character without looking artificially aged. The 40mm stainless steel case sits comfortably on the wrist and features a mix of brushed and polished surfaces. For collectors who appreciate the proportions and understated appeal of the discontinued Seiko SARB series, this model is a good modern alternative.
The watch is brand new and unworn, complete with original box and papers (2025). It was only resized by TicTac when it was sold in December 2025. The transparant caseback sticker is still present.
Details
Inside you will find Seiko’s in-house 4R35 automatic movement. This calibre features 23 jewels, a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, and a power reserve of approximately 41 hours. It supports both hacking (the seconds hand stops when setting the time) and manual hand-winding in addition to automatic winding via the rotor. The 4R35 is widely regarded as a durable, reliable workhorse movement designed for long-term and carefree everyday use. It is the successor to the discontinued 7S26 movement.
