how to install Accortec Intel I350 DP Gigabit Ethernet Card

Installing the Accortec Intel I350 DP is straightforward and designed for minimal disruption to your system. Follow these steps to ensure a clean, successful integration into desktops, workstations, or servers.

1) Prepare your system: Power down the computer, unplug the power cord, and ground yourself to prevent static discharge. Remove the chassis cover to access the PCIe slots. Verify that you have an available PCIe x1 or larger slot and confirm there is adequate clearance for a dual-port NIC.

2) Insert the card: Carefully align the I350 DP card with the PCIe slot and press firmly until it seats securely. Use a screw to secure the card’s bracket if your chassis requires one. If you have a low-profile build, ensure you’re using the half-height bracket variant provided with the card.

3) Connect network cables: Attach two RJ-45 cables to the card’s ports, routing them to your switch, router, or network appliance. Plan cable management to preserve airflow and reduce strain on connectors.

4) Power on and verify hardware: Reassemble the chassis, reconnect power, and boot the system. The motherboard BIOS/UEFI will recognize the new PCIe device. Some systems may automatically initialize the NIC and assign a basic driver during boot.

5) Install drivers and configure: Install the latest drivers from Intel or Accortec’s support resources to enable full functionality and optimal performance. Windows users typically run the driver installer, while Linux users may install a package or rely on the kernel’s igb/e1000-based driver support. After driver installation, configure network settings, set up NIC teaming if desired, and apply any required VLANs or QoS rules.

6) Test and optimize: Use your operating system’s network tools to verify link status, speed, and duplex settings. For virtualization hosts or data centers, test NIC teaming or bonds, and adjust offload settings for your workload. If you enable Jumbo Frames, ensure your entire network path (switches, routers, and endpoints) supports 9K frames to avoid fragmentation.

Additional tips for best results: keep firmware and drivers up to date, monitor CPU utilization during peak traffic, and document your network topology for easier troubleshooting. The dual-port design offers flexibility for creating dedicated networks for management, storage, or VM traffic, reducing contention and improving overall performance.

Pretty good size, and storage but it moves a little.
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
I ordered this in black, and it holds a large bottle of hand soap, my dish wand, and two other sponges/scrubbers. It really does drain into the sink, but you have to be careful to place it on the edge of the sink, or the water will drip onto the counter. Also, it's very light, so if you only have a few items in it, it's likely to move or fall when you reach for a sponge. Since we put a solid bottle of hand soap in there, it is much more stable, even when I'm using the pump dispenser. I can't tell if it's rustproof for long-term use, but so far it's functional after adding something to weigh it down. I like it much better than the flat sponge caddy we had before, and the quality seems good. I would like it to be more stable, but otherwise it's useful

Compact, Versatile, and No Rust So Far
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2", Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
I looked around quite a bit before buying this because a lot of sellers offer the same or very similar design. I even saw versions with a dedicated spot for a Scrub Daddy, but I didn’t feel like paying extra for that. I went with this one hoping it would still work for my setup, and it absolutely does. I’m limited on counter space, and this doesn’t take up much room at all. The removable brush holder cup is a big plus, I removed it and use that space for my Sponge Daddy, which fits perfectly. It also fits my hand soap and dish soap bottles without any issues, and I use the brush holder section to hold clean utensils. I’ve been using this for almost two months now and wash dishes constantly, so there’s pretty much always some water dripping from the sponge while it dries. So far, there’s been no rusting and no color chipping, which was something I was concerned about. Overall, it works perfectly for my needs and feels well made.

Design Is Great. Material Was A Very Poor Choice.
Color: Black, Size: 7.9" x 3.7" x 6.2"
The gauge of the wire used is pretty thin. There is no real weight to this item. It does do exactly what I need it to do as it allows me to dry my dish cleaning brushes and my Dawn Puff brush in an organized manner. The taller basket is nice especially for my long handled brushes. It would actually be nice if there was a second basket since I have more handled brushes than anything else. I am also really happy that I went with this design where the drain pan is the entire length rather than a little spout where all the drainage is focused. The full length lines up better to usage of each individual brush. Due to its materials, I don't have much confidence in this being around long. So far, the black coating has held up and no r*sting (do not want to jinx myself) has occurred, but if and when it does, I fully expect the metal to fold like a house of cards. The design is actually great. The materials are its Achielles' Heel.
