Brinks is renowned for his unique anti-folk style: both playful and suggestive, insightful and entertaining. The early carnival music of Trinidad became a passion, and he became the unquestioned master of European calypso, changing his name to Stanley Brinks. Under this moniker he has recorded more than 100 albums, collaborated with the New York Antifolk scene on several occasions, recorded and toured with traditional Norwegian musicians, and played a lot with The Wave Pictures. ... a set that's as wistful and charming as it is playful and self-concious. I ordered these and was highly disappointed. The first pair I got, the velcro pieces were coming off. The threading was either coming undone or just wasnt there. On both shoes. I sent them back, had them send me a new pair, hoping it was just a fluke, cause those do happen. The next pair was better, but the corners on the velcro pads were still coming up, and i just didnt trust it to stay together. I sent them back and got a refund.
As for fit, the first pair fit great, my foot was a little to skinny I think, or the straps were too loose even pulled as tight as they could go while still being able to connect the velcro pieces. It was something I could have probably worked with, they looked cute still and I still wanted to love them.
The second pair, however, straps were still too loose. That didnt change. However, I got the same size, but this pair, my toes were too long for. Like, they were up on the little toe ledge thats supposed to frame your foot. That was uncomfortable. So I feel like the sizing was inconsistent. Another reason I opted to send them back for a refund. The shoes are cute, and i usually dont have issues with this brand. I have a couple pairs of boots from them that I absolutely love. But these sandals were a huge disappointment, unfortunately.

Comfy but run large!
Runs large IMO. I originally ordered a 7 and they were much too big and the straps were way too long. I ended up returning them and ordering a 6.5, and I love them. They are SO comfy and they go with just about everything. I will say the top strap gets smudged easily, but I’ve just been wiping them with a wet cloth and the smudges are gone.

Love these! Super comfy and love that they give me a little height. I'm a 7 to 7.5. had to go with the 7s. Don't recommend sizing up. The color is nice too. Definitely a great purchase.

So comfy, but aren’t well stitched.

Really love the comfort of these shoes and all the straps are adjustable! However, the velcro on one strap came completely off a few weeks after purchase. I reattached it with glue, but it came off again. I plan to try to sew it back on because they are that comfortable. It is really frustrating though.
