22 years after their first release (1999) and ten years after their last album (2008), Nebula are back. And you're thinking "Holy shit!" right now, you pretty much nailed it. Holy Shit is Nebula's first LP since 2009's Heavy Psych, and it quickly puts to rest the question that's loomed since guitarist/vocalist Eddie Glass, bassist Tom Davies, and drummer Michael Amster announced the band's reformation in 2017: Nebula are still Nebula. It's there in the inimitable space-grunge of "It's All Over", or the take-a-drag-and-be-gone "Let's Get Lost", or the way "Tomorrow Never Comes" manages to be so, so heavy and laid back at the same time. It's in the paradise-psych of "Gates Of Eden" and even the snoring you hear before the devilish "Man's Best Friend" kicks in to open the album (the studio couch became a crash spot). Since the days of 1998's Let It Burn EP and the now-classic To The Center debut album (HPS 066CD/LP/LTD-LP), Nebula have always been just a little more dangerous. Just a little more unhinged. Holy Shit shows this front-to-back for the essential part of their character it is, and yet it's not trying to be anything they've done before, whether it's those early outings or Heavy Psych or 2001's Charged (HPS 087CD/LP/LTD-LP), 2003's Apollo, or 2005's Atomic Ritual. It's a sixth Nebula album - something for which even the most ardent of fans could hardly have hoped. The basic tracks were done in two days, recorded at Mysterious Mammal Studios in LA with Matt Lynch (also of Snail) at the helm. Leads and loops and feedback effects were done live by Glass and Davies as they recorded the basic tracks, just the way they'd do it on stage, and overdubs followed after as needed. A glut of material was produced and whittled down to the core of what you hear here. A sixth Nebula album. And when you hear it, you'll find yourself saying that title all over again. This chew toy is great for aggressive chewers—it’s very durable and holds up much longer than most other toys we’ve tried. The ring shape makes it easy for dogs to grip and carry, and my dog was immediately interested in it, likely because of the real bacon flavor. It’s also a nice bonus that it’s made in the USA and doesn’t have a strong smell for humans.
That said, it is very hard, so I’d recommend keeping an eye on your dog while they’re using it, especially if they’re an intense chewer. Over time, it does wear down and needs to be replaced once the edges get rough.
Overall: a long-lasting, high-quality chew that keeps dogs occupied—just be mindful of the hardness and monitor for wear.

Long lasting chew toy!

All I can say is wow! I have a Basset Hound mix who will be in the puppy stage for another year, and as we all know, that means dealing with teething issues. Seeing the photo of this product when it was new makes it obvious what he’s done to it. He’s still at it, chewing like mad. Made for medium to large dogs, he happily totes it around everywhere, and I’m always picking it up so I don’t trip over it.
The inner cup can hold peanut butter as a special treat for your pet, and I give him some when he’s feeling a bit bored. It doesn’t last long, but he’ll keep chewing on it for a while afterward. For me, the value is worth the price if it keeps his teeth off my furniture—pet owners know exactly what I mean.

All 3 Dogs Want The Benebone Ring Now

Rescued an Old English Sheepdog and after about 2 weeks, he started chewing things in the house. We knew he enjoyed chewing sticks in the backyard, but chewing things in the house was a no go. Purchased this Benebone Ring (bacon) hoping it would help to curb some of the issues we were having. I am happy to report that so far, after 3-4 weeks of him having the Benebone Ring, he has not chewed a single thing inside the house. He loves this ring and carries it in and out during the day so that he has it with him. The only problem we ran into was our other 2 dogs ALSO wanted the Benebone Ring. While they are not big chewers, suddenly this toy became the must have item in the house. So of course, we had to get more.
Highly recommend this chew toy as it is not only durable, it appears to be highly desirable. Keep in mind however that this toy is heavy. So when your dog decides to drop it on your hardwood floors, you WILL hear it in every room in the house!!

My babies love their Benebones!

My one-year old pittie is 60lbs and has severe allergies to EVERYTHING, she's on medicated food and all the crazy things, and so I was trying to find something that wouldn't mess up her regimen by her ingesting it. This is PERFECT. She loves her medium sized Benebone! She carries it everywhere haha. I have three other big dogs, and got the largest one for my 110lb German Shepherd and she also loves it. I keep an eye on the edges and sand them down if I find anything sharp.
These things are TOUGH. My pitbull can eat a massive bully stick in less than ten minutes, and she's barely made a dent in this thing! My GSD is a little more delicate and likes to savor and enjoy her toys, so hers isn't progressing as fast. She eats Yak Chews in around 30 minutes (and those things are like concrete!)
I think these will easily last a month, possibly more, and for the price you can't beat it. The value is insane. I spend maybe 200$ a month on rawhide alternatives and bully sticks and yak chews for them, and these 14$ things last infinitely longer. BTW these things hurt like a mother trucker when you step on them, so keep an eye on where they are haha they're big and heavy!
