5 CDs - UK Import

• Grapefruit’s landmark 100th release

• A definitive overview of the British psychedelic scene, an epic five-CD/book set that includes more than 50 minutes of previously unreleased music from the halcyon period 1966-68.

• Including the major acts of the era (The Who, Traffic, Small Faces, The Move, Procol Harum, Incredible String Band, Family, Crazy World of Arthur Brown etc), ‘Think I’m Going Weird: Original Artefacts From The British Psychedelic Scene 1966-68’ features many bands who also played London’s underground dungeons during the Summer Of Love.

• Featuring studio demos from the likes of Tintern Abbey, The Soft Machine, Mabel Greer’s Toyshop, Genesis, Mandrake Paddle Steamer, Dantalian’s Chariot and others plus numerous cult 45s (July, Caleb, Vamp, Blossom Toes, Sweet Feeling, etc) and fascinating album cuts from such scene stalwarts as Tomorrow, Fairport Convention, Kaleidoscope, The Deviants and Elmer Gantry’s Velvet Opera.

Perhaps most enticingly of all, the collection includes a number of hitherto-unknown recordings by bands who are only now gaining their first public exposure including Eyes Of Blond, Tinsel Arcade, Crystal Ship (whose contribution features lyrics from Pete Brown) and the semi-mythical 117, such a legendary name from the era’s handbills and posters that they even had a UK psych fanzine named after them in the ‘90s.

A dazzling feat of licensing and research, ‘Think I’m Going Weird…’ comes in a 60-page A5 book format with 25,000-word track-by-track annotation with some extraordinary and rare photos and memorabilia.

For anyone even remotely interested in British psychedelia, it’s simply an essential purchase.

Just okay
Format: Kindle
This is the second book from this duo I’ve read. And I just can’t get into it. Like Cassie Cole books. Sasha Moon is new to me. This book has a decent storyline. Intrigue. Exotic places. Dangerous underworld. Tessa is plucked from her waitressing job to nanny for Damien. The billionaire art mogul and his 2 friends. They are deep into a new project that they call the Legacy Collection. She’s whisked around the world as she Nanny’s for the billionaire. My problem is that I just do not like Tessa. She’s quickly inserting herself into business she knows nothing about. Creeping around places she shouldn’t be and the billionaire and his security is okay about it. A slight talking to and that’s all. I like a strong female character, but she was often a brat. She just wasn’t likable to me. She was tolerable once they arrived in Greece, but I was too far gone at that point. Good level of spice. The scenes were hot. The guys were likable. Overall, I couldn’t wait to finish it but I found myself often putting off picking it up

Great Story!!
Format: Kindle
This was a great story however, it did seem a little short. Maybe a little rushed, but that could also be because I wanted a little more development of the characters as a family :). Also, I love how this story doesn’t seem like there are two different authors! Whew :). I love that!!! The only real criticism I have is that there are too many characters with names that start with the letter “T” and it makes reading the story a little confusing.

reverse harem with heart and a HEA
Format: Kindle
Author duo Sasha Moon and Cassie Cole delivered a well written reverse harem romance read in Billionaire's Nanny. Our female lead Tessa starts as a server at an event and meets a sweet lil girl Tabitha. Damian is Tabitha's father and after the event all he hears about it Tessa and so, in his billionaire style shows up unannounced to offer Tessa a job as Tabitha's nanny that she can't refuse. Damian may be the beginning but there is also Theo, head of security and Nico, chauffeur and chef. These three go everywhere together. I love how our authors introduce us to the art world, exotic places traveled. They weave together the heat and sweet so well and I love that there is a storyline with mystery, heart just as much as the heat the characters bring. A wonderful HEA is to be had as well! A really good read! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

So many plot twists and turns!
Format: Kindle
In Billionaire's Nanny, Tessa is a catering waitress. While working an event, she encounters Tabitha, a precocious 6 year old who is bored and seeking her own form of entertainment when left to entertain herself at her father's event. Taking the child under her wings and keeping her out of trouble, little does Tessa know that with that simple act, the trajectory of her life will forever be altered. Damian is Tabitha's father. He's wildly successful in the art world and a billionaire. Theo is his body guard and head of security, while Nico is his chauffeur (of any form of transportation that moves) and personal chef. The three travel everywhere together. Damian is out to right the wrongs of the previous generations of his family. He wants his daughter to be proud of her legacy and he will do anything to ensure that she has this opportunity, even if it requires lying, stealing and riding the fine line between what is morally and legally right and wrong. In order to do this, he desperately needs the help of someone he trusts to watch over his daughter. Tabitha won't stop talking about Tessa and the time they spent together at the event. Without notice, Damian shows up on Tessa's doorstep and orders her to join them as Tabitha's nanny. Needing the money to help care for her siblings, Tessa agrees. What ensues is a quest for Tessa to learn who to trust. There is an air of mystery continually surrounding the three men that leaves Tessa feeling uneasy. Secretive meetings and phone calls. Continually jet setting from country to country. Locked vaults and rooms depicted on doll houses as nothing more than empty spaces. Who are these men? Are they good guys or bad? Tessa struggles with her growing feelings as she finds herself equally attracted to them all. As each man spends more time with Tessa and finds himself intrigued by her, each wants her for himself. These are three alpha males all vying for pole position in Tessa's heart. Little do they know, Tessa isn't interested in having only one in pole position. For her, it's all or nothing. Will they be able to give up ultimate control and learn to share? Authors Sasha Moon and Cassie Cole have done it again! This is an extremely well developed novel. Normally I am quick to determine the plot and the direction it's taking. If there's a mystery in a plot, I've usually solved it by 25% of the way into the book. The plot of this book was hard to guess, which is actually what makes this book so fantastic! I love the twists and the turns; the hint at explanations without actually not explaining much of anything at all. LOL It kept me engrossed and wanting to know what the heck was going on. The authors did a fabulous job of slowly dispersing tidbits of plot weaving intrigue and mystery throughout the entire length of the book. This book kept me focused the entire time I was reading it. I love that Tessa is a strong female lead. She isn't afraid to back down or ask questions when things don't make sense. She also has a soft side that just wants to be loved and to feel affection. She is like a mollusk, hard on the outside yet soft on the inside and in her heart. As much as she would like to trust, she has learned that you cannot blindly trust. So she asked questions. She watches. She tries to determine if her employer Damian is truly an individual that is upstanding and one whom she can trust with her life and her heart. The three men in the story are harder for the reader to get to know, especially Damian's character. The author slowly feeds you information with regards to their personalities, but even with the air of mystery surrounding them, there's something likeable about each of them. I couldn't help rooting for them all to get their HEA. This book is an absolute definite must read!
