Engineered for reliability and scalability, the Black Box Fiber Optic Enclosure is a versatile solution for modern networks. Whether you're deploying a mid-sized fiber workgroup or expanding a larger network infrastructure, this enclosure delivers secure, organized fiber management with flexible configurations. Choose from open or locked Fiber Wall Cabinets, loaded Rackmount Fiber Panels, or the Rackmount Fiber Shelf to tailor the system to your environment. Handy adapter panels feature ST®, SC, or LC connectors, enabling seamless integration with a wide range of patch cables, transceivers, and patch panels. Built to endure the rigors of data centers, telecom rooms, and network closets, the enclosure keeps fiber paths protected, labeled, and easy to service. With modular design and scalable capacity, it supports growth from simple setups to complex deployments without sacrificing performance or accessibility. The result is a durable, secure, and efficient backbone for your fiber network, offering straightforward maintenance, simplified cable management, and resilient operation even in demanding conditions.

  • Flexible configurations for any environment: Whether you need an open-frame wall cabinet for easy access in a lab, a secure locked enclosure for sensitive deployments, or a combination of both, the Black Box Fiber Optic Enclosure adapts to your space. It supports loaded Rackmount Fiber Panels and the Rackmount Fiber Shelf, giving you a modular platform that scales from a compact mid-size workgroup to a comprehensive network backbone. By design, you can reconfigure the interior layout as your fiber topology evolves, swapping in panels, adapters, or additional shelves with minimal downtime. This flexibility helps optimize patch cord routing, minimize slack, and streamline maintenance windows, making it ideal for growing data centers and multi-tenant facilities alike.
  • Broad compatibility with ST®, SC, and LC adapters: The enclosure is ready to accommodate a broad range of fiber termination options. Adapter panels support popular connector types—ST®, SC, and LC—allowing you to unify disparate cables and transceivers under a single, organized enclosure. This compatibility reduces the need for premature cable replacements and simplifies inventory management, while ensuring you can align with existing network standards and vendor equipment. The result is faster fiber terminations, cleaner patching, and improved optical performance across your network topology.
  • Intelligent cable management for performance and longevity: Fiber paths stay protected with integrated rear cable management, routing channels, and bend-radius guidance designed to minimize attenuation and micro-bends. The enclosure enables clean separation of power and data paths, label-ready port maps, and dedicated spaces for jumpers, pigtails, and jumpers. By keeping cables organized and properly routed, you not only reduce installation time but also simplify ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting. This thoughtful cable management helps preserve signal integrity and lowers the risk of accidental disconnections during routine servicing.
  • Security, access control, and durability in a rugged enclosure: Security matters in enterprise fiber deployments, and this enclosure delivers with lockable doors and robust construction. The durable, powder-coated steel frame withstands daily in-rack and in-room use, resisting dents and corrosion while maintaining a professional appearance. Lock options deter tampering and unauthorized access, making it suitable for data centers, telecom rooms, educational campuses, and other environments where fiber integrity is critical. The combined emphasis on security and sturdiness translates to reduced maintenance costs and longer product life, preserving your investment over time.
  • Standard 19-inch rack compatibility with scalable capacity: Built to fit standard 19-inch racks, this enclosure integrates smoothly into existing data-center layouts and equipment racks. The modular design supports additional panels, shelves, and adapters as your fiber network grows, enabling a seamless path from a compact setup to a full-scale fiber distribution system. Whether you’re reorganizing a small closet or expanding a regional hub, the enclosure’s rack-ready architecture helps maintain airflow, accessibility, and serviceability while keeping a tidy, professional appearance.

How to install Black Box Fiber Optic Enclosure

Plan and assess: Before installation, assess your space, security requirements, and future growth. Decide whether you will use an open or locked cabinet, and determine the appropriate mounting location with adequate ventilation and clearance for cable routing. Verify the available rack space and ensure your clearance allows for rear cable management and service access. Prepare your fiber backbone, identify the primary routes, and label cables to minimize confusion during terminations and maintenance.

Prepare the mounting surface: If you are mounting in a rack, ensure the rack is securely fastened and level. Remove any removable panels as needed to access mounting rails. Check that your power and cooling provisions meet your facility's requirements and that the chosen location supports the expected heat load and airflow. For wall-mount installations, verify wall strength and anchoring points; use appropriate hardware for your wall type and weight expectations.

Install enclosure and rails: Mount the enclosure or wall cabinet to the chosen surface. If using a rack, attach the rails to the rack posts according to standard 19-inch mounting spacing, ensuring level alignment. Install any required mounting brackets, panels, or shelves as specified for your configuration. Tighten fasteners to the recommended torque to prevent vibration and movement during operation.

Install adapters and panels: Insert front-loading adapter panels for ST®, SC, and LC connectors in their designated slots. Verify that the panels are securely seated and that the adapter ports align with your anticipated fiber routes. If you are using the Rackmount Fiber Shelf, position it in the lower or upper portion of the enclosure based on your organization scheme and available space. Hook or secure any required retention devices to prevent accidental disengagement during maintenance.

Route and manage cables: Begin routing fiber cables through the rear management channels, ensuring bend radii are respected and that there is sufficient slack for future movement. Use labeled ties or clips to keep cables organized and away from power lines or cooling vents. Separate high- and low-density fiber paths where possible to minimize cross-talk and signal interference. Verify that all cables are properly terminated and seated in their adapters, with a clear, labeled map for future reference.

Test and finalize: Conduct basic optical tests to confirm continuity and acceptable signal levels across the terminated paths. Check for any signs of optical loss or connector misalignment. After confirming functionality, secure doors (or locks) and document port assignments and fiber topology for future maintenance and audits. Finally, ensure that the enclosure remains easily accessible for routine inspection while maintaining security standards.

Hate to be first to leave a negative review
I'm not thrilled with being the first to leave not only a review, but a negative one at that. I ordered this as it's limited ingredients with no artificial fragrance but received it and can't get the men's perfume scent off my lips or the taste from my mouth. It's supposed to be honey as the scent, made with honey and there is no honey scent to it. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what as this is my first purchase with this brand. It tastes and smells like an artificial cologne. I've used other tallow products before and never had this kind of scent to it.

Light scent, super hydrating, large tube
I guess I'm in the minority lol, but I really like this lip balm. I think the smell is subtle, like honey vanilla, and I think the taste is pretty neutral. I don't have a strong sense of smell, but I hate perfumey scents, and I don't mind this at all. I found it to be super hydrating on my dry winter lips. It glides on really easily and smoothly and kind of melts onto the lips. The tube is huge too - .5 oz is at least 3 times the size of a normal chap stick. It has a great lid and there's little chance of it opening in a purse or pocket. Price is really reasonable too. I'm a fan.

Great for Kids, Smells Nice, and No Harsh Chemicals
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 2)
This sunscreen spray is easy to apply, not greasy, and doesn’t leave a sticky residue. The tropical fruit scent is light and pleasant, which makes it easier to convince kids to wear it. I also like that Alba Botanica avoids oxybenzone and other harsh chemicals. It holds up well for swimming and outdoor play. The 2-pack is convenient to keep one at home and one in the beach bag. It is a great deal!

Does not spray
Size: 5 Ounce (Pack of 2)
Does not spray!!! This is the second set I purchased and I have had issues that I was unable to spray with 3 of the 4 bottles. Was incredibly inconvenient when we brought a new bottle on vacation and it didn't work. Company would not send a replacement - only a physical coupon. I cannot find the sunscreen in stores and the coupon only covers about half a new bottle.
