The RB-800 is a high-powered, 800-watt bass amp head crafted in the UK in collaboration with Pantera’s Rex Brown. Combining Ashdown’s renowned tone with Rex’s signature gritty sound, it features a versatile EQ system, Sub Harmonic Generator, Compression Control, and Valve Emulated Drive for wide tonal flexibility. Designed for both live and studio use, it offers modern connectivity options like an Analogue Cab Sim D.I output, all in a lightweight, road-ready design.

The Rootmaster 800 EVO III is a precision-engineered bass amplifier with a comprehensive EQ system, Ashdown Sub Harmonic Generator, Compression control, and a versatile Valve Emulated drive. It's the Swiss army knife for bass players, excelling in any musical setting, whether on stage or in the studio.

In a world that is increasingly embracing silent stages and in-ear monitoring, Ashdown remains resolute in its commitment to delivering
top-tier bass amplifiers. The Rootmaster EVO III, in response to the evolving needs of bass players, now features a new Analog Cab Sim Di output.

This innovation provides you with a newfound level of flexibility in managing your on-stage and front-of-house monitoring, empowering you to achieve an exceptional monitor mix effortlessly.

As for raw power, the Rootmaster EVO III boasts a staggering
800 Watts of output, making it well-suited for a wide range of performance
scenarios. It is versatile in terms of power requirements, accommodating both 115-230 Volts, making it a globetrotter's dream.

The two Neutrik Speakon/Jack outputs ensure robust and reliable connectivity, and the frequency response spans from -3dB at 17Hz to 30KHz, capturing the entire bass spectrum with unparalleled precision. The high and low instrument inputs, along with the line input, provide flexibility for different basses and sources.

A balanced D.I. output guarantees that your signal is primed for front-of-house mixing, and a tuner output simplifies your tuning setup.

The rear panel of the amp hosts a balanced D.I. with an XLR socket, delivering a post-E.Q. and post-effects signal. You can easily select this option using the Balanced default setting on the front of the amp. But the innovation doesn't stop there; Ashdown has meticulously designed a series of filters, finely tuned to replicate the response of their legendary ABM
cabinets.

You can choose between engaging the CAB SIM DI or the BALANCED DI output through the XLR DI option, enabling you to tailor your sound to perfection. Additionally, you have the choice between PORTED and SEALED enclosure options, affecting the resonance and bottom end response of your sound. The SPEAKER option presents a choice between a 10" speaker, known for its tight, defined mid-range, and a 15" speaker, prized for its depth and clarity.

Finally, the HORN option allows you to add a high-end boost at around 5k, emulating the presence of a horn within a cabinet. The possibilities are endless, offering a level of customization that is unparalleled.

This IS where you start to understand it all!
Format: Paperback
While I haven't received my Second Edition book yet I do have the First Edition and I can say it's very thorough and well explained to even the beginner level. If you're trying to learn both Linux and Cybersecurity this IS the place you want to start. It will save you a ton of headaches and you're getting VERY VALUABLE skills you can use in any scenario. I would call it an advanced starting point. Linux itself can be somewhat difficult and daunting to learn and understand if you're coming from a strict use (Windows in my case) OS 25+ years. This book bridges that gap effectively and you can absorb the knowledge with a little work. Also watching OTW's video on YouTube with David Bombal is an excellent follow along source. In my opinion, OTW does the best job of explaining exactly what you need to know. And follow it up with a video or two of how to understand the Linux file system and you'll soon be set to go. David Bombal's vids on setting up VM on your computer are also very helpful! If your intention is to get into Cybersecurity from zero knowledge this IS the best point to gain valuable knowledge whether it's to crack into IT, Cybersecurity or just for your own knowledge, this book is worth 10x it's price!
