Tamron 150-500mm Lens

Unique Ultra-Telephoto zoom for maximum creative freedom

The 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD not only delivers high image quality, but it is also offers high operating convenience. Despite the remarkable 500mm focal length, it is very comfortable to use with a length of only 209.6 mm and a maximum diameter of 93 mm. As the first Tamron lens for full-frame cameras with Sony E-Mount, it is equipped with a VC image stabilizer, which enables sharp ultra-telephoto shots from the free hand. The optical structure comprises 25 elements in 16 groups, among them several special glasses and hybrid aspheres for correcting optical aberrations. The BBAR-G2 coating of the lenses minimizes reflections inside the lens and suppresses ghost images and lens flares, which are particularly common in backlit photos. With a focal length of 150mm, the closest focusing distance is 0.6 m, which means that the lens is also suitable for impressive close-ups. In short: The 150-500mm F/5-6.7 is a very versatile lens that can be used for many motifs - from landscape to wildlife to sports photography.

Fast and precise autofocus

The 150-500mm F/5-6.7 has a VXD autofocus with a powerful linear motor. The advantages of the VXD technology lie in the high speed and precision of the focusing. The autofocus reacts at lightning speed and reliably focuses on dynamic motifs such as athletes, fast vehicles, wild animals or birds. The linear motor works quietly and with low vibration, so that the lens is suitable for both photo and video recordings.

VC image stabilization for sharp, detailed shots

The large, smooth and easy-to-grip focus wheel makes focusing particularly easy and, most of all, quick on a Zeiss Terra ED. You'll notice the advantages of Terra ED binoculars as soon as you pick them up: your index finger automatically lands on the focusing wheel. You'll never again need to think about how you hold the binoculars when something exciting suddenly happens in front of you. In next to no time, you'll have it sharply in focus.

For compact system cameras

The Tamron 150-500mm F/5-6.7 Di III VC VXD (model A057) is compatible with the advanced features of mirrorless system cameras:

  • Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF
  • Direct Manual Focus (DMF)
  • Camera internal lens correction (vignetting, colour fringes, distortion)
  • Update of the lens firmware with the camera

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
